Good to see you’re conceding that Rob’s outrage is faux.
No, I merely stated faux outrage trumps faux intelligence. I said nothing at all about Rob! Real intelligence would have caught that too, buffoon! But, then, your habit is to ass-ume what you don’t know and what you don’t know would fill volumes!
ass-terisk: Your insulting diatribe is beneath my contempt. Full of too many unwarranted ass-umptions! And do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Or her brother, your dad?
As for you:
...and the horse you rode in on!

Proof, I’m sorry if my knowledge and pride in my roots force your profound insecurities to bubble to the surface.
I offer my apologies, as you seem either ignorant or embarrassed of your own heritage. Which is tragic, particularly for a boy such as yourself.

Thank goodness he didn’t mention Etruscans.

and as an intelligent person who has witnessed your slander of numerious ethnic and racial groups
First, I’ve slandered “numerious” ethnic and racial groups? To my knowledge I’ve only once invoked the wrath of Indian tribe, so certainly the “numerious” claim is a lie.
Second, what I did to get kicked off that reservation was simply write a column where I spoke the truth. I said that conditions were bad on the Indian reservation (which they are, you needn’t take my word for that simply look at any tribal application for things like housing/health care assistance) and called for an end to the reservation system, which I pointed out correctly isn’t doing the Indians themselves any great service.
Third, if I had lied in that column it would have been libel. Slander is spoken. Libel is written.
So aside from spelling your name right on your comment (presuming your name is, in fact, a punctuation mark that bears an uncanny resemblance to a sphincter) you’re right about exactly nothing.
But thanks for commenting. It certainly is entertaining!

Rob,
I’m touched you feel the need to step in and speak out for us folks with vowels at the end of the name. Particularly given your site’s record of defending the ‘other’ Latin-Americans.
I read your Turtle Mountain article, I read your subsequent defenses. I’ve been to reservations out here, and sure, there are many problems, some of which need to be addressed within their respective communities and their leadership.
But guess what: you and I are both outsiders, reaping the dividends that these communities had to pay at gunpoint. Addressing the ills of other’s communities may be our First Ammendment right, but it is not our perogative.
In short: You can’t point a finger at a community and call it a good-faith argument.
Given the positions you’ve staked in the past, please enlighten me: how can Americans of Italian descent not construe your Obama-cum-Wright bashing as patronizing?
Feel free to throw in a few grammatical definitions if you feel they bolster your argument.
Regards,
*

What dividends would those be?

Sure you can.

Take a good look at the stuff below your shoes and tell us what you see.

Oh, so the earth itself.
Using that logic, they are also reaping the dividends.

I’m sorry if my knowledge and pride
Pride? Or condescending arrogance?
(Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.)
It does make me embarrassed that you claim to be a Christian! Most Christians at least strive for a semblance of humility! Or do you have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof?
as you seem either ignorant or embarrassed of your own heritage
Wrong! But thanks for playing! Newsflash! Your gift isn’t discernment!
a boy such as yourself.
I have tried to instruct others here about making ass-umptions of things they know nothing about. You would do well to restrict yourself to things you do know well. Which in your case, appears to be words of sound and fury...signifying nothing!
