For those of you who can get your heads out of the sand long enough, the Church of God in Christ has many divisions. Unfortunately, Rev. Wright is head of this church in Chicago. He is an angry Black man who feeds upon the fears of Black people who feel that they will never get a fair deal in this country. Just as I am sure that there are Conservative preachers who prey upon many in the White community who fear a mongrel nation and a Socialistic society. Louis Farrakhan is a nobody. Wrong. The US has only existed for about 250 years, so that part of your statement is a lie. Moreover, some blacks were enslaved by a few people whose skin is considered “white”, even though a majority of “white” people in the US did not own slaves. Even more, slavery was a common practice in the world for millennia, regardless of skin color. Blacks enslaved blacks, whites enslaved whites, and so on, and so forth. Your skin-color racism is sickening.

FYI about 95% of the Africans were shipped to South America. The African kings sold their own people into slavery. Slavery still exists in Africa. An entire boatload of Slaves were discovered about three years ago. Slaves were common 2,000 years ago. Irish slaves and Chinese slaves built the Erie canal and the railroads across the West. Slavery is unlawful today. Some people insist on using that historical fact for a free ride. Some people have even said that they have not worked a day in their lives and they are 57 years old. I have been over 90% behind Barack until I listened/watched his Paster on TV today ... now I have to step back a little.

1. North Africans took Europeans by force and forced them to do manual labor for at least a an eon before the Atlantic slave trade even started. The word slaves come from the word slav, because so many Eastern Europesns were the victims of slavery.
2. This taking of white slaves continued at least into the 18th century, when North African pirate states were seizing American and European sailors at sea and forcing them into slavery.
3. There were as many Africans involved in the buying and selling of African slaves as European. Most slaves were captured by African or Arab slave traders and sold to Europeans. The idea that whites went into Africa and captured Africans is preposterous. Africans themselves captured and traded blacks into slavery.
4. Africans are still being pressed into slavery, but this time at the hands of other Africans. It’s mostly Europeans and Americans who oppose it.
5. Slavery was considered a legitimate institution by most people for most of Earth’s history. It was primarily the efforts of European and European Americans who fought to do legitimize it as an institution. If it hadn’t been for America and Western Europe, it would still be the norm.

The reality of slavery is that pretty much every race of people has been subjected to it at some point in their history. Blacks that point their fingers at whites as the root of their problem are really clueless. Blacks have been enslaved and brutelized by their own since recorded time. The brief period “historically speaking”, in which slavery occurred in the “New World” is only a tiny fraction of the total period of black enslavement, which still occurs throughout the Middle East and Africa. Only a small, rich fraction of individuals in the U.S. history owned slaves. Most people that migrated to the U.S., during it’s early history, struggled and toiled to scratch out a meager existence. It was the U.S. that provided the first real catalyst for the freeing of blacks. Whites paid a massive blood debt in the Civil War and have provided opportunities for blacks never seen in their history. Blacks in the U.S. have the highest standard of living anywhere on the planet. Is there still racism, yea. Do people still judge other people by skin tone, wealth, I.Q., eye color etc… yea. These things have been here since time begin and it’s highly unlikely they will ever be totally filtered out of our biologic makeup. This being said, although the U.S. is by no means a cultural Nirvana, it is a nation which allows the greatest human freedoms on Earth. People that don’t learn from the past and continue to finger point continue to stir up emotions which retard growth and prevent togetherness. An interesting static, that is taboo to be raised in the U.S., is black homicide on whites. If you were to take out Hispanic killings of blacks, white homicide on blacks would be almost non-existent. Yet all we hear are about, in the media is the “black on black” and race related crime. Nearly every ethnic culture, in America, has had a subculture of hate, intolerance, and violence in its history. Blacks screaming about evils of “White American” need to understand, they are a big part of our country’s current social ills. My family origins are Native American and European. In my life time, I have had my home vandalized twice, with every possession of family value stolen from me by blacks, nearly car jacked by blacks once, had a black muslim roommate spit in my bible, hang my crucifix upside down and have his black friends steal my personal possessions, been assaulted by a black, as a kid, with no provoction.
