5 Republicans voted for it.

Questioning Iraq policy is on the table now.
Before the 2006 elections we will be hearing
the Administrations withdrawal plans.
Nobody is going to run on “stay the course”.

Immediate withdrawal is the Republican resolution, the one the House voted on.

RESOLUTION

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that
the deployment of United States forces in Iraq be terminated immediately.

Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the deployment of United States forces
in Iraq be terminated immediately.

Murtha’s

forces involved are to be redeployed at the earliest practicable date
