It’s in the MSM’s interest to claw onto this report and ride it for all it’s worth. Bloggers, after all, are competition.

You are starting to understand the military.

It seems incredibly stupid

Bloggers, after all, are competition.

You can say that again.  It’s a race to the bottom.  Guys bloggers (like on this site) lead they way with lie after lie after lie.

What is not lies, is usually some cheap form of propaganda.  Occasionally, there is a reasonable post, but lets face it.  Bloggers are much better at screwing up a story than the MSM.

Actually, the MSM is threatened by bloggers precisely because blogging provides the long-missing element of journalistic accountability. The Fourth Estate feels itself weakened and unable to push the same lame-ass “story angles.”

cheap form of propaganda

Wow. You want cheap propoganda? Check out the NYTimes article on McCain. Here’s the breakdown:

Pg. 1: Unidentified sources “close” to the McCain campaign admitted to being distraught about the closeness of a certain female lobbiest to McCain.

Pgs. 2-14: [Documents 30 years of unrelated congressional scandal.]

Then we look at April’s Vanity Fair on Bush and Fatah…

Pg. 1: Unidentified sources confirm the existence of unidentified and classified documents that outline Bush’s plan to support Fatah in an overthrow of Hamas, thus leading to recent bloodshed in Palestine.

Pgs. 2 - 14: [Documents 30 years of Presidential fuck-ups starting with the Bay of Pigs.]

---
Two stories, both structured the same way: An unattributed allegation followed by 13 pages of unrelated scandal to make the dumb among the readers think that the 13 pages somehow verify the bullshit on page 1. This is beneath even yellow journalism.

And you are going to tell me that the MSM is honest? You are a fucking idiot.

Hannitized.  How about the 30 minute outing of the Dan Rather forged document, Michael-Yon online?  Sure, there are many who are less than professional, but have you ever visited some of the left-wing blogs.  Every other word is a cuss word and they merely repeat the same old stories about perceived government corruption and conspiracy theories with no basis of fact.

Yeah, that is one out of 6 posts a day that we get from sites like this.

If you wanna keep score, you gotta learn math first.

Blogs are great for throughly examining the MSM stories and reports.  But they are terrible at reporting stories.  They are 100x worse at accuracy or balance.

Sure, there are many who are less than professional, but have you ever visited some of the left-wing blogs.  Every other word is a cuss word and they merely repeat the same old stories about perceived government corruption and conspiracy theories with no basis of fact.

I do not doubt that this data is real to you, because it is.  What you seem to be unaware of is that there are plenty of right wing sites that do the same.  That data is real to me as well, because its true.

They don’t have to hire bloggers, bloggers are more than happy to bitch slap anti-American scumbags, such as racebaitingpovertypimp sannitized, for free. And it is fun.

I think I saw an accusation like this a few years ago.  My site is non-profit and I receive no money, pure Truth.  This post revolves around a mere suggestion:
....may be worth considering, ~ an academic exercise.  See what free exchange of ideas leads to--propaganda for the left.  But don’t take their words out of context!

Cheif,

Please see Hotels remarks.  This is the constant type of harassment Dems get when they blog on Conservative sites.  You do notice this stuff, dont you?
