I do not believe it for one moment! Gallup is a disreputable polling organization. Rasmussen still has McCain behind by more points than the margin of error. After the Democrat Convention Obama should have it locked up, it will appeal to emotion and that is how the country votes. The lackluster Republican Convention will follow and McCain does not have the necessities to look presidential or appeal to the voters tired by the Olympics and still swooning over Messiah Osamabama.

Gallup is a disreputable polling organization.
Come on now. Gallup is way more credible than the CNN/Times, LA Times. Remember they are OVER sampling dems a lot of the other polls.

To stumble? Without his Teleprompter™, that’s a pretty safe bet!

Oh brother. Next, you are going to tell me about the man behind the curtain....right?
There will be no TelePrompTers in the debates, aside from the ones the hosts will be using.
Excuses, excuses. That seems to be all you guys are made of these days.
“Look, over there....a Clinton”.

Fantasies are your thing, Han-job! I’m just saying that Obama becomes Stuttering John whenever he speaks without a script!

Oh I know what you are saying, brother. But in reality it amounts to nothing more than wishful thinking at worst or at best, hyperbole.

Uh, no kidding. That’s why he will suck in a true debate against McCain. At least as long as immigration doesn’t come up. Then they will be in agreement and McCain suffers for that.
Obama will “break us of our addiction to dirty oil”. Yeah, shout that at the top of your lungs and see how that plays with the average American. Great idea.

I’ve said this before--both of these guys have the potential to make Bush sound like Winston Churchill in comparison. That’s not wishful thinking, H-Man, it’s an observation from an interested, but casual observer. Thinking that either one of these guys has the potential to be a good president--now that’s being wishful.
As a campaigner, Obama is something of a nitwit--he is not quick on his feet, and he says outlandish things for no good reason. The pressies will give him a free pass though, which is important.
McCain campaign style can be likened to Pop Bush, which doens’t bode well for the R’s, that’s for sure.
So, it’s probably Obama by an ear--Republicans shouldn’t look at it as the end of the word. Dems rarely do what they say they are going to do--make that never--and, even if this guy is the exception, it will be so contrary to public opinion, it won’t get done anyway.
