This merely reflects the mentality of blaming the implement rather than the person.

England bought into the theory of gun control after the Dunblane Massacre.

So they banned guns and crime went up.  So they banned knives and crime went up.  Now they’re banning sticks.

It’s crazy but the lefty loser liberals will never admit they’re wrong so they’re stuck with this kind on nonsense.

was detained by two female officers on his way to a job in Aberdeen.

He was wearing a uniform and carrying a mock CS gas spray and a side-handle baton.

The female officers did watch him strip,
for purely law enforcement reasons.
No report on the offenders personal stick ?

Don’t you know the crime rate is going up, up, up, up, up

How far the once might British empire has fallen, from a nation of adventurwrs and inventors to a nation of wimps.  Blame liberalism/socialism for neutering society into a mass of mindless defenseless subservient robots.

What’s next?  Prosecutions for unlawful possession of a fork?  After all, those tines are pretty sharp.

Rob,

Ok, the day you can pick up a scoop of rice with two billy clubs, like you would using chopsticks you might have a point.

Until then, you are hanging your hat on a pretty thin reed.

Hey, way to contribute.  “Liberals fault”.  Did you think of that one all by yourself?

Good thing you are here as the intellectual superior, and I am merely a lowly non-contributor.  Otherwise, how would i have learned something so substantial about this issue?

Hannitized, you’ve yet failed to demonstrate you’re capable of learning anything.

So...you’re saying you’re in favor of a ban on billy clubs?

Am I going to have to get a permit for my softball bats?

I think it’s Hannitized “floppy truncheon” that distracts him from real learning!

Thats not much of an argument Rob.  The softball bat has another purpose, billy-clubs have only one.

When you see someone walking down the street with Billy-club, what crosses your mind?  Gee, that lad is off to have himself a great game of cricket?

I see no point in having a billy-club.

Ok.  Talk to me about the nitrogen cycle.

Or how about virtualizing storage in addition to the server?  Got any ideas on setting policies that meet SOX compliance?

The softball bat has another purpose, billy-clubs have only one.

Normally I would say two, but in this case three.

1) Protection
2) Attack

and 3 in this special case: as a stage prop.

#1 is far more important than #2 and recent history in United Kingdom has pretty much proven that.
