Are liberals really this dumb? Come on..please tell me that this is a put-up.

Looking through their comments though, one can’t but help to conclude that yes, they are this dumb.

Liberals all of a sudden care about the troops? Not even the “dumb” soldiers “duped into fighting the Neo-Con’s imperialist war for oil” will fall for this crap. They listen to Rush everyday. They know what’s up and who their domestic enemies are.

Conservative Talk, Sports Talk, Heavy Metal Rock, and Contemporary African-American Music is what the troops continue to ask for. And Internet access. The last is the one the Dems are fighting the hardest.

...and Contemporary African-American Music...

You mean rap and hip hop.

There really aren’t too many African-Americans to begin with, much less as a significant force in any music genre.

Let’s not encourage the hyphenated bullshit. You know what I’m getting at there 2Hotel9. That crap grates on my nerves every time I see it. It’s a bit insulting as well. Someone from Jamaica, for example, is said to be an “African-American”. Bullshit.

I didn’t want to do a paragraph long list. Compression is good in things other than engines and spandex. The majority wants Newstalk/SportsTalk on AFN. The rest want an ever expanding mish-mash of all kinds of music. The worst part is they could have everything. Park a satellite over the ME and hammer down on the entire electromagnetic spectrum. AFN does not have to be restricted to one channel of AM/FM/VHF broadcast.

This is how the selections are/were made for armed forces radio. Under Clinton’s presidency a ballot was circulated among the military and Rush Limbaugh was added to the roster (for one hour of his three hour show). The problem is, politicians have decided that they want to tell the troops what they want to hear, and they try and pass resolutions to remove soemone the politicians don’t like - that’s an interesting way to support the troops. SOunds like a nanny state to me…
