First off, I am generally liberal. However, I would vote against Meeks if I still lived in his district. Why? Many reasons. First off, he’s a hypocrite. Secxond, he’s a racist and so is his church. Interestingly a “special friend” of his is head of the Human Resources department at Metra. She makes sure people from his church get special jobs. They’ve even created jobs just for them. Need I mention most of these so called managers don’t even have high school diplomas? Her and her cronies have made sure people know they don’t take too highly to “honkeys”.

the way candidate use religion for their own political ambition is disturbing. they will tell us how much they love god and will even go to churches to show that they are god loving, but once they go back to their office, they will start a war and plot against humanity

James Meeks has made the following quotes from the House of Hope:
“We don’t have slave masters. We got mayors. But they still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able, or to be educated.”
“You got some preachers that are house niggers. You got some elected officials that are house niggers. And rather than them trying to break this up, they gonna fight you to protect this white man.”
“I want the whole nation to look at Illinois,” said a defiant Meeks, pastor of Salem Baptist Church and a state senator. “I want the whole nation to ask, ‘Why is Illinois racist?’ I want them to ask, ‘Why is Illinois treating low-income students like that?’”
If you ask me, the House of Hope sounds like the House of Hate.  Meeks is the racist.  He uses that term all of the time. That brand of “Christianity” isn’t in any Bible I read.  Meeks should bring his dispute to the Governor and Illinois House and Illinois Senate.  For that matter, he could get Barack Obama, who he supports, and who is STILL our Senator, to intercede.  Obama is purported to be a leader.  Where has Obama’s “leadership” been during this fracas?

Parents who support Meeks’ action should look up the word truancy.

I truly hope that Meeks is billed for the loss of school revenue for every absent child during his protest.  Additionally, I encourage the businesses in the Loop who will have students camping out in their lobbies to handle criminal trespass, loitering, and vagrancy.  Send your bills for added security costs to the House of Meeks.
