Here’s a novel idea; increase the supply!

Short of fixing gas prices there is no way to control the price of gas. The left has been blaiming Bush for the price of gas but the reality is the left and enviornmental wacos have held up construction of refineries. There is plenty of crude oil they need to refine it.

Ethanol alone is responsible for about a dollar of the present price of gas.  Get rid of the ethanol subsidies and mandates, and we have $2.60/gal gas.  I’ll take that every time.

As previously discussed, the increasing price of crude oil and gasoline are tied to the market value of the dollar.  As the dollar strengthens and starts to increase in value vis a vis the euro and other currencies, look for oil prices and gasoline to decline.  Crude oil has already lost nearly 9% in dollar denominated price this week.

Actually, your comment was well worth the repetition.  Amen!

Gas prices have skyrocketed since the Dims assumed the majority. Was Billary not part of the majority? What has she done, as a member of the Dim majority, to restrain the steady rise of gas prices?

Hillary has not allowed drilling in ANWAR.  Talk is cheap for liberals.  Votes are what counts.  Same for Obama.

Chief RZ - 05:05am on 05/02/2008

We should be doing to things to secure America’s energy future.

1. We should immedietly begin drilling in ANWR and the Gulf Coast, but in as responsible a manner as possibe.

2. Someday we’re going to run out of oil and when that day comes we need to be ready with a better technology. For that reason, I propose that we focu all college financial aid on students who major in Math, Science or Engineering. Those are the people who are going to create our post oil technologies.
