Hoppy Easter!! It is 26 and snowing as I type. Here is Boy and his egg haul. The making of the egg salad will shortly commence.

If we would have got the Easter Bunny we would have got ALL the Easter Eggs.

Whistler,
I have not thought of a rabbit box trap in years.
Every spring, after our garden was planted we would always set out box rabbit traps. Rabbits would eat up a garden in just a few days.
We always pulled them in at Easter time, to give the Easter Rabbit an opportunity to deliver his goods without the threat of frying in Ma’s(Bless her sole) frying pan.
Our rabbit boxes were long rectangular enclosures, bait at the back, trap door at the front, with the triggering mechanism that ran atop the box.
Hope that is what you a alluding to, otherwise people will think of me as a nut.

No me and the kids were setting the old style stick and a box trap, where the Easter Bunny goes to eat the carrots, knocks over the stick and is trapped.
Of course we weren’t going to eat the Easter Bunny, just keep all of the jelly beans for ourselves. (We’d share with people we like of course.)
The trap you refer to is more akin to a gonkulator. Who gets that reference?
