When you attack Whistler, a deecnt, honorable and honest man, you have gotten on my fighting side. Back off!
It was a generalization Neiman.
My point is that most of the time, nutters miss the mark when they attempt to question someone’s patriotism.

Hannitized, once again, completely deviated from the purpose of this post. Instead of looking at the musical issue he decided to make it one of his inane political stances.
Oh Pilsbury, you clearly saw my remarks regarding her performance, didn’t you?
Surely you are man enough to contemplate the wisdom of her song choice? Even Simon said “It was the most clever song choice in years”. Why do you think he said that?
But that’s okay. I don’t like surprises and when he makes sense it’s certainly surprising.
Oh...lookie, P-boy made a jokey. Adorable.

What makes young women put themselves in harms way for the sake of having nice big breasts?
Hannitized doesn’t like it when there’s a bigger boob than he is in the room!

Kristie Lee Cook is lovely and talented. God bless her.
Hanny,
Or, that we all know most women in country music fake their patriotism so they can have an audience, thus, a career
.
Just for the sake of discussion, would you consider what the Dixie Chicks said about their president fake or real patriotism?

Good example. The Dixie chicks prior to their remarks of Bush were playing the game, sucking up to their anti-freespeech conservatives who dont understand tough love.
When they made that remark there is no doubt that was genuine, thus there behavior afterwards to stand their ground proves they were genuine and turning their backs on some of their fans.
Was what they said patriotic? Well, it depends on your outlook doesn’t it?

OK, where’s your proof that the Dixie Chicks ever played the game and supported GWB?

I don’t think it defines their patriotism, I think it defines their politics.
If they were smart they’d shut about about their politics. If they care to speak out then they shouldn’t whine about the consequences.
Not liking the president doesn’t have anything to do with patriotism. Hating your country does. So the nimrods that claim that the US is (and was) always in the wrong are unpatriotic.

Whistler, when I said playing the game, I meant playing the game and singing about things that target a certain audience. They don’t do that now and they are adamant about the fact that they have more freedoms as artists now.
