I would also recommend the Ramones documentary, “End of the Century,” which came out two years ago. Readers of this blog may prefer it because it features the late Johnny Ramone, unquestionably the most conservative member of the band!

Back to the topic of the post, my avatar for the last month or so is Johnny Ramone in true rock star form. The guy was one of the gawkiest, geekiest looking people I’ve ever seen...but on stage he was a rock god.
