Bryan, "Carrefour" may be plural in French making the statement gramatically correct… Like saying "We don’t carry..."
In either event, this is typical of the stereotypical french mindset… Political Correctness is more important than freedom of speech!

The picture concerns a Carrefour franchise in Egypt, it is the local shop owners who made that decision.
