Anna: My objection was to the unstated position in the article that marriage is some sort of quid pro quo business deal, with sex being a bargaining chip. I think that’s demeaning to both the husband and the wife.

in the long run if you tally the equation of a relationship, most will discover it’s exceptionally
balanced.

The recipe for a happy marriage.

Propaganda for social engineering works best when there is an element of truth to sugar-coat it.  That doesn’t make it any less social engineering propaganda.

First off, anyone who has served a hitch in the military ought to know that a squared-away area is the product of an ordered mind, so at the very least, your average troop should be of the mind to refuse to live like a pig.

That being said, it has been the purpose and practice of the Left to feminize menfolk, starting at an early age, so as to make them less suitable to serve as staunch soldiers—both in the defense and less aggressive in the attack.

What if they had a war and nobody came?

I would look closely at who funded and carried out this study and see if it was just yet another piece of Leftist propaganda—this time using the primal urge of sex to help it along.

ever stop to think that men who get more sex are more willing to help around the house?
its cause and effect here,folks.

men buy diamonds and make outrageous, unnatural promises in exchange for that commited sex partner called a wife.

give the man some lovin, and he’ll be even happier to give more in the form of housework.
duh.

my wife asked me once: what happened to that man who woke up early and made breakfast?
my response: make it so that he rolls over and goes to sleep, and he’ll get up earlier.

If your wife is a woman who thinks herself as a higher rank of person more capable of doing the dishes than I will say that doing a share of the housework will innately please her.

The question is, what kind of wife do you prefer?
Unassertive and eager to please?
Or a soulmate?

...looks like we’re doing the dishes you virtuous men.
