THE HAGUE, 28/03/08 - While the cabinet is losing sleep over MP Geert Wilders’ unpublished Koran film, a second film is due out on 20 April. Ehsan Jami plans to launch a cartoon film featuring the Prophet Mohammed as a paedophile.
Jami, born in Iran, announced that his film, The Life of Mohammed, is due for release on 20 April. On TV programme Netwerk, the young politician (22) showed a screen-shot in which the Prophet, with a visible erection, takes a child to a mosque to have sex. On the mosque is a swastika.
The fragment is a reference to the relationship between the prophet and the 9 year old Aisha as described in the Koran, according to Jami. His cartoon portrays all kinds of other perverse and violent verses, he added.
Jami set up a committee last September that aims to encourage leaving Islam and protect apostate Muslims. Shortly before the launch, he was attacked by Muslims in his home town of Leidschendam, where he was a local councillor for the Labour (PvdA) party. In October, PvdA terminated his party membership because his opinions were too radical for it.
The Muslims and Government Contact Body (CMO) has immediately announced it wants to bar the cartoon film via the courts. CMO is the government’s official consultation partner on integration policy. CMO board member Ayhan Tonca, said on Netwerk that Jami’s film will undoubtedly spark furious reactions in the Muslim world.
Tonca is a member of the Christian democratic (CDA) party. He was nominated to be a CDA MP in 2006 but resigned as a candidate because he refused to recognise the 1915-1917 genocide of Armenians by Turkey.

Chief: I have a fairly full and reliable translations of the Qur’an and the Hadith الحديث (oral traditions relating to the words and deeds of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Hadith collections are regarded as important tools for determining the Sunnah, or Muslim way of life, by all traditional schools of jurisprudence.) The words and actions of Mohammed and what is supposedly commanded by Allāh الله, in these texts make this movie look tame and innocent by comparison.

I beg to differ. Islam is a religion like any other. exalting some, damning others. What separates it from Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc. is that it is a Human Driven religion. The imams, the clerics, the ayatollahs are bent on power, not salvation.
The Religion is not inherently evil. It’s leaders are.

That is a silly charge. Pederastry was widely accepted at the time, in the area. Girls were expected to marry upon hitting puberty...or even slightly before. An older man marrying even a MUCH younger girl was nothing to bat an eyelash at. (Some scholors believe that Mary was as young as 11 when betrothed, while Joseph could’ve been in his 40s. That would explain why Joseph was out of the picture by the time Jesus started his ministry.) Arranged marriages were quite common from infancy. A girl would be betrothed, or married, to a man from a VERY young age.
True, now we frown on such practices, but at the time, they were nothing odd. From the time frame...it even made sense for men to marry younger girls, and multiple women, to try and pass on their genetics and have many successors. Even Robert Spenser, perhaps the most eloquent, intelligent, and damning critic of Islam poo-poos this accusation.

It is interesting to note that Bunglawala doesn’t deny that Muhammad, when a little over 50, married Aisha, who was nine. That is attested in Sahih Bukhari, the Hadith collection considered most reliable by Muslims. But the problem here is not that Muhammad was a lawbreaker; the problem is, as I explain at length in Islam Unveiled, that Muhammad is al-insan al-kamil, the perfect man, and as such his example is valid for all time. That’s why child marriage is rampant in the Islamic world, and why Bennett should not be castigated: it is not a question of criticizing the founder of someone else’s religion, but of asking whether the example of that founder is really a positive thing in 21st century society. But that, of course, is the question that must never be asked.
So, the problem is not in Muhammad’s choice...but in the constant emulation OF that choice. There are many reasons to find issue and Muhammad. But this is not one of them. Should it be continued today? No, of course not. Do our higher standards today somehow make his choice a bad one? Not at all.

First, you are trying to defend Mohammed’s sexual desire for a child by falsely claiming Mary was 11 years old and Joseph in his forties. You have assumed facts that are not in evidence to bring Joseph and Mary and Almighty God down to Mohammed’s level of sexual lust after Aisha a 9-year-old girl.

Muhammad had no morals either. Tabari VII:7 “The Prophet married Aisha in Mecca three years before the Hijrah, after the death of Khadija. At the time she was six.” Ishaq:281 “When the Apostle came to Medina he was fifty-three.” Tabari VII:6 “In May, 623 A.D./A.H. 1, Allah’s Messenger consummated his marriage to Aisha.”
Tabari IX:128 “When the Prophet married Aisha, she was very young and not yet ready for consummation.” This is how it happened: Tabari IX:131 “My mother came to me while I was being swung on a swing between two branches and got me down. My nurse took over and wiped my face with some water and started leading me. When I was at the door she stopped so I could catch my breath. I was brought in while Muhammad was sitting on a bed in our house. My mother made me sit on his lap. The other men and women got up and left. The Prophet consummated his marriage with me in my house when I was nine years old.”
Aisha replied, ‘The angel brought down my likeness [she was a babe]; the Messenger married me when I was seven; my marriage was consummated when I was nine [she was abused]; he married me when I was a virgin, no other man having shared me with him [she was a child]; inspiration came to him when he and I were in a single blanket [she “inspired” him]; I was one of the dearest people to him; a verse of the Qur’an was revealed concerning me when the community was almost destroyed [she inspired Allah]; and I saw Gabriel when none of his other wives saw him [she lied].’”
The written record indicates that Mohammed was lusting after Aisha at 6-years-old, married her when she was seven and like a dirty old man had sexual intercourse with her when she was nine and confessed that in a dream (sexual fantasy) that Allah gave her to Mohammed. Your attempts to justify this by the times in which they lived is simply wrong, as no grown man properly has sexual lust for a six year old child and screws her when she has not yet reached puberty.
Glad that this is finally out. Makes this election cycle easier for anyone not sure about which lever they will pull..
