So, according to this reporterette it is perfectly fine for members of Congress, who are directly involved in oversight of financial institutions, to receive special treatment and sweetheart deals on their financial dealings? Really?
This scandal is rapidly being buried by the political left. Why? Because the entire housing/mortgage crisis is their fault. Democrats and RINOs in Congress and various State Legislatures forced banks and mortgage companies to change how they determined the acceptable risk of issuing loans to low income and high risk customers. And the ARM debacle lies directly at the feet of the same morons.

Ha. This is the ‘democrat’ who is farther left than Bernie Sanders?
Sounds like a real straight shooter. He should move to Providence or Philly where he can deal directly with the mob.

A 2,600-square-foot “traditional” beach cottage?
Traditional for whom?
Notice he his trying to blame his “wife”, who “just happened” to go from 20 years in the Navy to the lobbyist job for Major league baseball.

My immediate reaction was: Congratulations to Cole on her appointment as Conrad’s chief PR officer! There hasn’t been an official announcement of that appointment that I know of, but what else can you assume after reading that piece of Conrad apologia?
The question isn’t “Are Janell Cole and the Forum in the tank for Kent Conrad?” It’s “How far are Janell Cole and the Forum in the tank for Kent Conrad?”

Rob-had breakfast with a few people this a.m. - brought up the Conrad story in the Forum - was promptly rebuked by the group because Conrad had helped each person in one way or another ("earmarks", etc.) for projects they supported. These are guys who identify themselves as REPUBLICANS.
I’ll repeat my pessimistic view from yesterday that we’re stuck with these guys forever!

Can you say pervasive, bi-partisan, governmental corruption?
I knew you could!

From the city people to the fed and back again. A large circle of ass sniffing. Like a doggy convention!
