Would be nice if the author broke down where the 16.6B went.

Something doesn’t add up.

three cents per BTU for natural gas and other petroleum liquids.

1 gallon of kerosene or light distillate oil ...  135,000 Btu
1 gallon middle distillate or diesel fuel oil ...  138,690 Btu
1 gallon residential fuel oil ...  149,690 Btu
1 gallon of gasoline ...  125,000 Btu

That’s a reality to keep in mind the next time you hear a politician talk about creating millions of “green jobs.”

I suspect people think it means these are jobs that pay lots of green.
