Once again, using a few small facts as a ramp to jump a Grand Canyon sized conclusion…

Facts:
1. Someone stole this couple’s credit card, or card number and should be prosecuted.
2. They found out about it because this person used their card to make a donation to the Obama campaign.

Conclusions (Based on NO facts):
1. The Obama campaign is directly responsible.

Not sure how you came to this one, except for the fact that you so badly WANT it to be true

2. OBVIOUSLY it was an ‘inside job’ since the person donated the maximum allowable amount.

Did you ever consider that they attempted to donate $5,000 and the amount was dropped per campaign finance law? Or perhaps, the person committing the fraud is as familiar with campaign law as you are, and subsiquently KNEW $2,300 was the maximum allowable amount? That number is not a secret…

Either way, you are continuing to reach, as you have been since this campaign started. I’m still waiting for some POSITIVE content about the McCain campaign, but all I keep seeing is more Obama-bashing…

Dharma Bum,

It may not be “fair” but the reality is that when you play in the big leagues, an office holder or candidate for high office his held to account for all that is done in his name or on his behalf… good or bad.

President Bush, for example, has been held to account for all manner of things in which he has had no personal involvement, while his predecessor has taken credit for any number of things which took place during his presidency for which he was in no way responsible.

If young Mr. Obama had any sort of substantive experience, not to mention some integrity, he would take responsibility for those reprehensible things done in his name, at least to the point of publicly disavowing them and demanding that such activities stop.

Either way, you are continuing to reach,

So, OCK, you are suggesting that by some unbelievable, mind boggling coincidence, a sophisticated thief took the risk of stealing the Larmans credit card information and decided to donate to Obama, rather than buy a new TV or something. Now that is the true reach. Does that mean the Obama Campaign is responsible?  Probably not.

But let’s see, given all the voter fraud, the 3000 Obama campaign contributions reported by the NY Times that contained false information, and the line between the dots does not appear a long one.

By the way here is the link to the NY Times report

Oh, it could be, as you suggest, the Larmans are not telling the truth.

I’m waiting for some logical answers to valid, fact supported questions regarding Senator Obama, and his relationships.  You have heard McCains positions, and it appears you don’t like them.  That’s fine.  Why would anything anybody writes change your mind.

Why is this shocking, ACORN led by Barry is trying to steal this election and you are stunned over stealing 2300 dollars while the left just ripped off Hundreds of Billions of dollars gutting the banks and shareholders. It is only 2300 dollars after all.

It sure does seem like a lot of illegal things are stacking up associated with the Obama campaign?

Spoken as a true graduate of the Joe Biden Let’s Just Make Shit Up Academy.

1. NOWHERE in the original post is the accusation that the Obama campaign is directly responsible. You pulled that one out of your ass, threw it against the wall, in hopes that to would stick, but it didn’t.

2. See #1.

If you’re going to accuse someone of operating in a non-factual manner, it would behoove you to get your own shit straight before smearing it all over the stall.

Also, the article said “the charge involves the Obama campaign”.

Are you going to argue that point?

It was a fraudulent charge on their credit card paid to the Obama campaign. Hence, the campaign is “involved”.

You’re so eager to interpret this as someone making a baseless accusation against your Jesus figure, that you’re not allowing your brain to process the English language properly.

We must be “racist” to pre-suppose that anything nefarious could be going on with this…...

Rabid American - 11:10am on 10/14/2008

Bruce,

You are a psycho.  The headline clearly leads one to conclude that Obama is directly responsible.

Chris - 11:10am on 10/14/2008

The obama campaign has threatened using spam to attack patdollards blog so it would’nt suprise me that they would resort to illegal activities.  They also sent a 800,000 donation to buy off acorn. i wonder if that is illegal for Acorn to accept the donation
