Crying “racist” is the crutch the left uses when they don’t have anything else to lean on. It’s old and tired, but the media eats it up. And Chris Matthews is a jerk, just by the way. He couldn’t lean more to the left if his right leg were eight feet long.

That ad was in no way racist, and it doesn’t even identify Ford as a Black person.
If you want to say that the claims against him are false or mean, fine, but don’t claim racism where it doesn’t exist.

He served as a top aide to long-time Speaker of the House of Representatives Tip O’Neill for six years. He worked in the U.S. Senate for five years on the staffs of Senators Frank Moss and Edmund Muskie before running for U. S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.

Matthews’ only noteworthy attributes are his moderately capable vocabulary, his shrill, frenetic, pattern of speaking, and the fact that he was thoroughly sliced, diced, and pureed on national TV by a seasoned, good ol’ boy Marine from the North Georgia mountains, Zell Miller.
