Who is ultimately responsible for raising our children?
Ever since the political ascent of American feminism, the leftie model has been that the State owns the children, with the mothers in control. Fathers aren’t even in the picture, except to pay for what the mother and the State wants. A sorry state of affairs, but it’s the ongoing reality.

We had better put a stop to this right away. Already we have so-called concerned teachers scrutinizing every scratch or bruise they see. Gotta make sure those naughty parents don’t get away with child abuse, you know. I hope that everyone in every state that attempts to invade our homes and control our children write their legislators post haste. I wonder who is going to pay for the time lost while the parents are “volunteering” in Indiana?

and Indiana has a law in the work that would make volunteering at your child’s school mandatory.
The article is confusing as it does mention Indiana. However, it is Ohio that is persuing this legislatiive oxymoron.

Ban spanking? In California? That’s odd, because from the looks of some of the Berkeley anti-military and Code Pink types it looks like they probably pay good money for that from time to time.
Wait....oh you meant spanking their kids. Oops. An Emily Latella moment.
Nevermind.

Technically, we might point out that it is a legislator, or a few, in Kahleefornia that is trying to ban spanking, not a significant part of the same legislature. That said, yeesh. We turn a deaf ear when an adult pays for the abortion for his teenage paramour, and raise Hell when a parent disciplines his child? Say what?
