Jimmy Carter is going as a private citizen. Would you deny him his right to travel wherever he wants. He does not and cannot speak for American foreign policy. Jimmy Carter is a great humanitarian. Something I cannot say for any former Republican ex-President.

The reason you cannot say that is because of an unwritten rule for ex-presidents. Stay out of the light and let the current president do their job without you. Unfortunately, folks today see Jimmy and Billy sticking their faces into everything and doing nothing because they have no power, just appeal to a few.

Why doesn’t someone put the old fart in jail or maybe a REST HOME.

No Republican ex-prez met with a terrorist group? Wow, I am strangely fine with that. You’re either ill-informed or very unintelligent person. Defend other Democrats, fine, that is your right....defend Carter? You’re a moron. The man is a traitor and if I had not be a little kid when he was elected I would have been screaming from rooftops to ignore his idiotic opinions. I can’t believe, after such a comment (Carter=good???????????) that Rob allowed you to even be here. We have differences and I am okay with that, but anyone that defends THAT man deserves no forum.

Jimmy Carter is a failure as a statesman. Considering his long list of screw ups I am surprised his visa hasn’t been pulled.

Nobody’s really said why Jimma wants to meet with those ragholios. Maybe he’s trying to become a hostage, to alleviate three decades of guilt. We could call him Martyr Jimma Carter.
