Great post Gene, but I disagree on the part about the wall. Obviously, a wall by itself won’t solve the illegal immigration problem. But a wall, combined with an active deportation process within our border and a big, wide gate to let in lots of new legal immigrants, will solve the problem.

Rob, if you read real close you’ll notice Gene fully endorses the idea behind the wall:
The only border we have to worry about building a wall in front of is the Honduran/Guatemalan border. All that would require is a fence 30 feet high and 200 miles long. That border would be a piece of cake to seal off.

There’s no probl;em with owning desirable land down here, you just form a corporation just like one in the US. No need for Mexican partners. As far as finally being able to afford a nice place on the beach, beachfront on the Caribbean side where I am runs in the $3k to $35K DOLLAR range per meter of beachfront, sometimes more depending on utilities available. I’m still over 20 miles from the nearest power lines. You’re about 15 years too late to get an affordable place.

Affordable is relative but I don’t many people who can afford $3 million for a lot with 100 meters of beach to build a house on. The area I’m in requires that you have a minimum of 100 meters to build a 1,200 sf house. Anything less can’t have any type of permanent structure, so unless you want to live in a tent you better have a good line of credit or an inheritance. I’m not going into any more detail than this: I bought my 1,000 meteres in 1988 for for less than $100 per meter.

I’ve long been an advocate of the assimilation of Mexico, but along a more colonial model. Assume control of the new commonwealth, install a constitution and a $2.00/hour minimum wage, and a serious crackdown on crime and corruption.
After a 50 year plan of investment and progressive assimilation, we can start talking about statehood.
It’s not a popular idea these days...

Annexing is unnecessary and undesireable, we don’t need any more people. There is a thing call Susainty and tributary states. We do not need any more "citizen" who do not feel loyality to America. How do you ensure loyalty, by creating a feeling of superiority and subjugation of lesser people. All of Latin America will do nicely as a tributary states. All latin America people can get work permit for differnce classes of works. Employer needing that kind of works at a below US legal wage will pay the government agency and workers fulling that need will be hire and allow to enter the country. The government will take it shares ( for expense and cost ) and send a small percentage to the worker in the US, a quarter to he other have to the native country and the rest hold in escrow account that will be claim by the worker when he return to his native country. It would be understanded by law and treaty that these workers will never became citizen unless they are invited - by service in the military of the US for a period of no less then 10 years( a foreign legion kind of thing), or by having other quality that would make a person a desirable citizen. High paying job which require technical and scientic skill will be open to anyone that will have the skills, this will ensure loyalty and control of the ruling classes in Latin America. Of course will we have to have open investment in all the country under our control. Openning Latin America to the US exchange will ensure stability, which Latin American is in bad need off. Coincidental, it will also tied the rich people with investment to our market control.
We must make citizenship harder to get. Immigrant who repudiate they native citizenship must be resident in good standing living in the US for 10 years (without being away from the country for a period of more then 2 year total), read and write english, obsolute alliance to the American system of governement, and repudiate alliances to any other government and organization(example will have to be made, John Kelly, All the Fonda, and all the democrate will have to be publicly execute as example of what is unAmerican). Native born American should hold citizenship protection by virtue of having at least one US citizenship, and on his/her 16 birthday, must repudiated and take an alliance oath to the US, and must pass a rigorous test of character and alliances. The US as a system of government with a carefully select and motivated Citizen as enforcer of the American Empire will final bring piece to the world.
By the mere fact that we can conquer the world, the world should face power reality and summit to America overlordship. 50 States are enough, we don’t need to mess with the flag, let just subjugate the rest as our slave (very well paid slave, hey we can just let them starve, so stop complaining).
