Personally I think that this is very odd and it raises all sorts of questions and all the answers are very scary. I was just wondering what you thoughts were?

I just want to note that the military has been deployed here for over a year now and they are on a 12 month rotation so this is really nothing new.

On it’s face it could be a strategy to train US forces to control election outcomes. Now why do I think they will be used here first? At best it is a misuse of the Army or any dedicated military force. The National guard used to be employed doing this but, they are used as army regulars now. As with any “change” under this regime, it bears watching. Yet another demonstration how fragile freedom is. Oh wait, I know, they will be used to reinforce the border with our welfare state ... Mexico!

How about sending North Dakota Guards to every rathole on earth to be policemen?

I just want to be fair this deployment started under the Bush Administration not Obama’s. The more I look into stuff the more stuff I find that Bush really kinda screwed up on especially in regards to our civil liberties. While I am confident that Bush would have never taken undo advantage of our liberties I have absolutely no such confidence in Obama. This just illustrates an important lesson that we need to learn that no matter how much you trust the office holder at the time you never give up your power because the next guy might not be so trustworthy.

I also would like to post a link to another site that is worth looking into http://WWW.OATHKEEPERS.ORG this is an organization that basically helps educate and support our troops in keep their oaths. Our troops like our politician pledge to protect and uphold the constitution not any one government or politician. They explain it a lot better on their website than I just did so check it out.
