Three strangers meet up at Hector field in Fargo. They are all waiting for a plane to Minneapolis. One is a cowboy from out near Medora. One is a Native American from the Fort Berthold Reservation. The other is a radical Muslim student from Iran. The three begin to talk, and they soon find out that the Muslim hates America, wishes all Americans were dead, and would love to behead a few himself. Understandably, the conversation stagnates till the Indian says, “Once my people were many. Now they are few. Why is that?” After a short pause, the Muslim sneers, “Once my people were few. Now they are many. Why is that?” The old cowboy leans back in his seat, pushes his hat up a bit, and says, “I recon that it’s because we ain’t played cowboys and Muslims yet. But it’s a comin’, I’ts a comin’. Wanna play?”
