Yowza: New Poll Shows Murtha Trailing Opponent By 13 Points

Those poor Pennsylvanians. First Barack Obama called them a bunch of bitter, bigoted, bible-thumping clingers. Then Jack Murtha called ‘em all racist.
Now they’re lashing out at Murtha, and one can’t help but wonder what this might mean for Obama’s chances in Pennsylvania.

A Pennsylvania source has just leaked me brand spanking new poll data showing GOP upstart Bill Russell leading John Murtha among over 800 probable voters by 48-35.
This comes on top of the Susquehanna poll showing Murtha ahead of Russell by 4 points, within the margin of error.
The new poll is from Dane and Associates, which surveyed over 800 probable voters, randomly selected to reflect the district makeup, on Wednesday night.

Jack Murtha being cast out of office might well be the only silver lining in this entire election season.

    Guys, Jakoff Murtha has stolen elections in that district for 20 odd years, he will steal this one. As much as I like Col Russell, it is very unlikely to actually happen, the Murth/Mafia machine will not be dissed.

    It could mean big problems for Obama as well. Rednecks and bitter, clinging types vote, it seems.

    It’s much too much to hope for, but I’d like to see a repeat of DeFoleyAtion (the first time since 1860 time a sitting Speaker of the House failed of re-election in their home district). It’s almost worth having Cindy Sheehan as a member of Congress!

    I don’t think Sheehan has a chance, but it WOULD be worth it. I mean, swapping Pelosi for Shehan just swaps one incompetent, crazy socialist for another…

    If they re-elect him they deserve him and all he can bring them which is disgrace and stolen money from the pockets of the entire tax payer population , all of us have been hurt by his incessant ear marks and spending sprees .And the horrible statements he has made, which are like what a demented freak would spout. It will be good to see him defeated I may mail him a thank you note .

    welder, inside Johnstown Murtha will take the vote, outside of it he is getting his ass handed to him, with the exception of Uniontown and Indiana, PA. Here is a map of PA Districts. As wiki even says, the 12th was gerrymandered specifically for John Murtha, talk about sweetheart deals!

    I do hope Mutha is routed from his place, he needs to retire any way . The whole bunch is corrupt and I could care less about what befalls them only that justice be done . How any one can say what he did. One can only assume he was ready to quit any way, although I would have walked off from it and let another crook take my place, so he may not be to smart in running again he may lose a demoncrat seat , I hope any way . So I am bias but not a bigot. This election is not about race it is about power on the left, communism period.

    I am not a big fan of urban politics. We have democrats and republicans back where I’m from, but they aren’t the same as the greater metropolitan northeast garden variety.
