You Know That LA Times Article About How Fred Thompson Lobbied For A Pro-Abortion Group?

The one left-wingers have been all ga-ga about (because they apparently don’t want a pro-choice Republican in the race)?  Well it turns out that “facts” have been disappearing from it rather quickly since it’s been up.  The LA Times is actually changing the story on its website and not telling anyone about it.

Here are some questions now being asked by those paying attention:

How did Thompson lobby for the pro-abortion group when he apparently didn’t register to lobby for any domestic interests in 1991 (he did register to lobby for a foreign interest in October of that year)?

And how did Fred act out a cowboy death scene from one of his movies in 1991 when he hadn’t even appeared in a western movie until “Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee,” which was just released within the last year?

Plus, why won’t the pro-abortion group that alleged hired Thompson divulge any invoices or payments made to him for this lobbying?  Seems to me like they should have to pony that up, or shut up.

Perhaps they tried to verify the “facts” of the original story and found out that that story was not true - could not be verified as originally written.

Just because something is in print doesn’t mean that it is correct. Further explaination is required before anyone can make a proper judgement however.

Lets watch this one and see where it goes, if anywhere.
