I remember a post about a soldier who spoke to Obama to not pull out of Iraq. Then, after he delivered his message he hobbled off exposing he had lost his leg in battle.
I am suggesting that Conservatives will use servicemen to advance their political agenda. Not even saying there is anything wrong with it.
So why get upset when RBB points out this hero was a Democrat? I don’t get the outrage?

Along the lines of this video is the one not taken. That would be the first time in fifty years that a new president did not make an appearance at a ball to honor the CMO winners. What explanation can his apologists make of that ommission from his ,and Michelles’, schedule? Do not assume this guy does anything without a reason. My take is that the awardees were not “dark” enough for him. What do you think?

To Hell and Back was one of the best films I ever watched I was very young at the time but I did not know at the time that this was a true story about one of the best fighters and Americans of all time. He portrayed him self, and I bet you he was on their butt every time they tried to make something up, he was a stickler for truth , as far as being a democrat it was a good thing to be a democrat then, and today we have 11 democrats that are from the old school .This is a tribute to a man not a politician and is not up for debate period . Another good film was Sargent York, another great hero . But Murphy out shone him as York only rounded up many Germans that were tired of the war and ready to quit , either way both men are to be commended , Murphy was the most decorated soldier ever .

I never said it was a political post. But just because it is not a political post does not mean RBB can not make a political comment.
Almost every post on this site is political and the majority are little more than punches in the face to democrats, your comments included.

Rob didn’t mention his politics because they did not matter. A man barely out of his teens joined the service, went overseas to fight for his nation and family, risked serious injury and death when older men froze and failed, saved them all with his heroic actions.
