Would Obama Be A Jimmy Carter Re-Run?

On energy policy he would be, and if you think that’s a good thing you’re a fool.

Comments

If the government controls energy, they control the populace; just what Barry O and his fellow travelers have in mind.

At least when Carter took office, he had some military experience as a Navy officer under Hyman Rickover, and some executive/managerial experience as Governor of Georgia.  The cupboard marked “Experience” in the Obama household is bare.

Carter is also a nuclear engineer.
So where are all the nuke plants like the French weenies have?

No, Barack Obama would NOT be a Jimmy Carter rerun. While the Peanut Prez was busy screwing up everything he could turn his mind to, the American people - democrat and republican - were by and large moderate to conservative.

Barack Obama will become President in an entirely different nation, where millions of folks - most of them college graduates - have been carefully prepped over the last 30 year to think and be liberals.

The election this Fall, congressional and presidential, may mark a turning-point in the future of this nation of monstrous proportions.

Should Obama become president, we will see a European-style socialism legislated in this country in the next 48 months which will be difficult, if not impossible, to undo.

Meanwhile, we sit around and post our little petty grievances about courts and Pelosi and McCain. When are we conservatives going to wake up!

The stakes are high. Whether the issue is the economy, or energy, or the federal courts or national security, the right answers are coming not from the Democrats, but from the Republicans. True! All Obama can aspire to is a Jimmy Carter wannabee!

A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)

I looked over his plans and worse than my disagreeing was how entrenched it would be immediately. Once the cost of, say education, reaches the new cost/spend balance we CANNOT revoke his giveaway without a massive upheaval.  We create a new economic balance that we can’t undo without screwing the poor.

Obama will be one of the greatest presidents who ever lived. That is unless some redneck takes him out like Kennedy.

Watashiwa: Don’t even say a thing like that!  It is too horrible to contemplate.

I might shoot myself if Obama wins, but an assassin?NEVER!  NO!
