Worst Congressional Hairdos Ever

Featuring none other than North Dakota’s own Byron Dorgan:

Of course, to truly appreciate the hair style I like to call “The Dorgan” you have to see it from the rear:

Classic.
Update: A reader emails:

I saw Dorgan at a Knife River ceremony back in the early 90s. It was blowing 40 miles an hour. Conrad’s hair was blowing wildly, if thinly, but Dorgan’s stuck to his skull as if it were shellacked on….which it was, more or less.

I would pay good money for video of that.

This is so petty. You don’t make fun of Hoeven’s bad moustache or Bob Stenehjem’s huge belly do you?

Dorgan is one of America’s best public servants. Hoeven and Stenehjem aren’t even close.

  • Bat One

He is pretty much the most economically challenged Senator in DC.

    Rob,

First, make that “economics-challenged.” I’m sure Mr. Dorgan is doing quite nicely for himself compliments of the American taxpayers who he regularly fleeces.

Second, that’s a pretty brassy assertion you’ve made. After all, there are 50 other Democrats in the US Senate, not to mention several RINOs, none of whom have a clue how economies work. Kinda crowded at the bottom of that barrel.

    Rush calls him helmet head.

  • realitybasedbob

Why am I not surprised that a republican would support a jailed pol?

  • http://SayAnythingBlog.com The_Whistler_ofnd

The guy’s lying to himself. Is there any chance he’d lie to us?

  • WOOF

Dorgan did support the Ronald Reagan

    Strategic Hair Dye Reserve.

A secret part of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve

set aside for the production of hair dye

    in cases of national emergency.

    Presently managed by Trump LLP.

Mr. Speaker, there are opponents trying to kill President Bush’s tax cut. They say it is too big, it is not targeted. They say it is even retroactive.
Now, if that is not enough to glorify a 1040, they say they are upset because all Americans would get a tax cut.
Beam me up, Mr. Speaker. I support the pro-American, pro-worker, retroactive tax cut of President Bush.
Let me say this, Congress: there are not two or three United States of America, there is just one; one people, under God. And one tax cut that qualifies for all of America strengthens our Republic.
I yield back the fact that we have a Tax Code that would give Hulk Hogan a hernia.

Nope. Except grounders on bad hops.

Here’s a republican who will miss his freedom soon.

2nd best Deer in Headlights ever.

    RBB,

I blame Carter for a lot of things.

    I blame Clinton for less.

When Bush is gone I’ll find things to hang on him too. Just like his dad and just like Reagan.

Being President is a horrid job. In watching the 9-11 Path thing my reaction was, who in heck wants that Job? You are making life and death decisions all the time.

But, Of all the Presidents, Carter forward to today, My personal opinoin is that Carter was far and away the most damaging. The world would be a better place today if he had never become President.

Bush’s jury is still out. History will judge him differently than do we.

And, I liked your little Story. I used it the other day.

rbb: Let me ‘splain it to you: My statement was about the actions of judges appointed by Carter and Clinton leaning to the left and being biased against conservatives and Republicans; I did not

Blaming President Carter for scumbag gop traitors.

The actions of the politicians in question (from both sides) isn’t what I was talking about; I was talking about the judges who use their office for partisan political purposes. Any corrupt politician is to blame for his or her own sins. If you don’t understand this now, you just don’t want to.
After all, your primary tool on this blog is insulting anyone who doesn’t agree with your politics; it’s not that you make reasoned arguments.

And yes, you are wrong then.

  • Bob

I was on a flight from MSP to MOT in July sitting right behind Dorgan and his wife and I noticed that he had a lousy comb over. It was pretty funny.

  • Dave

This seems really grumpy and prone to juvenile humor if you ask me.

Edit by admin: I fixed your link again. Practice your HTML linking.

  • robert108

rbb: I said judges, didn’t I? If your primary tool is insult(which it is), you had better get them right. Otherwise, you look ridiculous…

  • http://www.freerepublicans.com/ FreeRepublicans.com

    WOOF,

    You surprise us every day.

  • aNONOMISLY

    Who? ..this guy?

  • realitybasedbob

    That dog won’t hunt, r108.

    BHAAALLAAAWAAA BALLAAAAHHAAA

Blaming President Carter for scumbag gop traitors. That’s rich. You’re the best r108, the best.

    RBB:

    He just called you Shirley!

  • robert108

Free: Nothing gets past you, does it?

  • realitybasedbob

Oh you kids, there is only one worst congressional hairdo ever.

Dorgan is Fabio compared to the one, the only James A. (beam me up) Traficant.

  • aNONOMISLY

He aint got nothing on John McCain

  • aNONOMISLY

    lol

  • robert108

rbb: A jailed Dem pol. Free a Republican? Shirley you jest!

  • http://SayAnythingBlog.com The_Whistler_ofnd

I gotta agree with Bob with two ‘o’s.

  • robert108

rbb: If you can’t win at the ballot box, go through the courts. That’s the usual leftie strategy these days. There are still a lot of Carter and Clinton judges left who want to subvert the will of the people. Demonize and smear away.

  • Dave

    I quit HTML.

  • realitybasedbob

There are still a lot of Carter and Clinton judges

Oh, I guess I am wrong then.

  • http://SayAnythingBlog.com The_Whistler_ofnd

You can make fun of Hoevens mustache all you want to for all I care.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com robport

You don’t make fun of Hoeven’s bad moustache or Bob Stenehjem’s huge belly do you?

That’s because those things aren’t as knee-slappingly funny as Dorgan’s helmet hair.

Dorgan is one of America’s best public servants.

Why does he claim to support ethanol, but doesn’t support dropping the massive tariff on imported ethanol? Why does he support policies that are going to make gas more expensive at the pump?

As a public servant he’s really, really good at doing favors for the folks that grease his palm. He is pretty much the most economically challenged Senator in DC.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com robport

This seems really grumpy and prone to juvenile humor if you ask me.

Yeah, but when I do it it’s funny.
