the video brought back some memories of going to college during the sixties and early seventies (i had a three year stint in the army and vietnam) that broke up my time. i wondered who were the radicals in my school back then and what happened to them. many in those days were pretty nasty sounding people. i couldn’t remember the names but i did some searches. one became a left wing columnist, another still works with radicals during may day marches, and another became a judge in san francisco. their thinking hasn’t changed much according to what i have read.
just thought it was interesting research.

Ayers was “NOT” acquitted of the charges against him.
The charges were dropped while he and Dorn were still fugitives because of prosecutorial (investigative) misconduct. There’s a big difference between the two.

I used to be a democrat until I found that they were going to communism and I quit and became an independent but changed to republican as I also realized that being an independent would serve no purpose against the democrats and changed to being a republican so I would have at least some of the ideas and principals that suited me and America best . oh, poor Joel, so angry these days. No one cares about something that happened when Obama was 8. They just don’t. There is nothing more that you can throw at Obama regarding Ayers that is going to make people forget about the cratering of the economy, the recession and what has happened to their pensions and their 401ks. They care that McCain will tax their health care benefits for the first time in history.
So when they have to weigh Ayers versus their pocketbooks, guess which one they will pay attention to, not Ayers. But you keep trying, and Obama’s crowds will keep growing.

When Obama was approximately 34 years old, Ayers and his wife hosted a meet-and-greet in their home, which according to the memoirs of one attendee, Maria Warren, helped to launch Obama’s political career. I’m all for former fugitive reform when the shoes fits, but unfortunately, on September 11, 2001, six years after helping to launch Obama’s political meet-and-greet, Ayers told the New York Times quoting him saying that he doesn’t regret setting the bombs and they didn’t do enough.
