Woman Found, Media Disappointed

If you were listening to any national news radio yesterday, you heard constant updates on this missing woman from Georgia who was going to be married today but disappeared a few days ago. The national media picked up on this story, for whatever reason, and ran with it as though it was the next Peterson story. Well, to the disappointment of the media, this one ended without incident:

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A Georgia bride-to-be who vanished just days before her wedding turned up in New Mexico and fabricated a tale of abduction before admitting Saturday that she got cold feet and "needed some time alone," police said.

Jennifer Wilbanks, 32, was in police custody more than 1,420 miles from her home on what was supposed to be her wedding day Saturday.

"It turns out that Miss Wilbanks basically felt the pressure of this large wedding and could not handle it," said Randy Belcher, the police chief in Duluth, Ga., the Atlanta suburb where Wilbanks lives with her fiance. He said there would be no criminal charges.

I really get sick of stories like this. I hated the Peterson thing, I hated the time everyone spent talking about it an analysing it... like I really needed to be informed of it?

Hannity came on yesterday and the entire opening monologue he spent telling everybody to "give the boyfriend a break" because the MSM was trying to infer that he had killed her or something. I only listened to half of it and turned the station to something else because I get sick of it... I guess Hannity was short on material yesterday...

Can you tell I really don't like this garbage news?

Dude:  I agree with you 100%, but quit complaining. Would you rather hear about Michael Jackson?

It does irk me that you’ll have two experts on opposing side of an issue like Social Security that affects every one of us and they’ll give them each about 30 seconds before “BREAKING NEWS” and 10 minutes of a Sheriff’s spokesman discussing the latest of case “x.”

You’d think with all day cable news channels it wouldn’t be that difficult to have a format where issues are actually discussed in depth and still make money and attract viewers.

Oh I know...That might be asking a bit much.

What was she doing “in police custody.” Has she committed a crime?

What I found absolutely Hi...larious was when the family, after a kissy faced four day love fest with the media, promptly tossed them all off the property seconds after it was learned this women is a liar and fraud.

I’m on record here and now: Within days a video will surface showing this child in womans clothes arm in arm with a previously unknown boyfriend. The “I was abused” line of defense will also be floated.
