Wolf Blitzer: Who Does A Bad Economy Benefit More? Republicans Or Democrats?
The answer, obviously, is Democrats. Which is why they, and their mouthpieces in the media, spend so much time trying to convince us that the economy is awful even to the point of invoking the Great Depression.
It’s all about pimping victimhood. The basic liberal agenda is to centralize government and use that centralized power to try and solve all the troubles of the world. But in order to convince people to turn over that power to them they need to first convince the people that they need the government to solve their problems.
This is why Obama’s campaign rhetoric is all about “hope” and “change.” He thinks we’re hopeless right now, but how many of you out there actually feel that way? Forget about what you see on television and read in newspapers or on the internet, how is your actual situation?
I think the vast majority of you are probably just fine, if you evaluated your situation honestly. Because this country is in a golden age. Things are perfect, nor will they ever be, but we cannot let the pursuit of perfection be the enemy of recognizing that which is pretty dang good right now.
