Wisconsin Postmortem: Revel In Ed Schultz’s Pain
11:17am
After more than a year of liberal heavy breathing about Wisconsin, including smug assurances of Scott Walker’s political demise, I can’t help but revel a bit this morning in their misery.
Walker won, and he won decisively.
My inbox was flooded last night and this morning with questions about whether or not I saw Ed Schultz’s borderline-tearful response, perhaps because of Schultz’s history here in North Dakota. I didn’t see it live because I think watching Ed Schultz makes people dumber, but I looked it up on YouTube and it is amusing.
I’m not usually one to gloat, but who would miss an opportunity to enjoy this no-talent hack’s moment of despair?
Schultz grumps about the out-of-state money that flowed into Wisconsin for Walker, but remember that it was the liberals who nationalized this recall. It was the left who made Wisconsin a local battleground for a national debate. That more Americans, nationally, supported Scott Walker than Tom Barrett is just more evidence that the left is on the wrong side of these fiscal issues.
Update: More fun, here’s Tom Barrett getting slapped right in the face by an enraged woman after conceding the race.
