“Racist” = When someone does not agree with a liberal.

“Need” = When someone wants someone else’s money.

“Greed” = When someone wants to keep their money.

“Compassion” = When a liberal facilitates the transfer from what he sees as the greedy to the needy.

“Equal Opportunity Employer” = Majorities need not apply.

“Affirmative Action” = I refuse to make it on my own.

To be a democrat you have to believe that conservatives are racists,Ã¢â‚¬Â¦but that black people couldn’t make it without your help.

What is the problem if Bush is ideologically similiar to Dobson, Wildmon, and Phelps… Just because they think along similar lines does not mean that the latter three control Bush…

The “taliban” of the right (among others) elected Bush because he was a man that thought along similar lines and would push an agenda that they liked. What is the problem exactly?

Aaron, I’m not sure that I’d say the President is ideologically similar to Fred “Got Hates Fags” Phelps.

Honestly, I don’ even know who the latter two of Don’s list are, I just am familiar with Dobson. My point was that if these three support Bush, it means they support what he stands for (at least in part) and it doens’t mean they somehow control him…

Don Myers has a way of turning threads into matters of race and sexuality. He’s preoccupied with those two concerns and often sees problems where they don’t exist.

I’d just add that just because those people agree enough with Bush to vote for him, does not mean that Bush subscribes to all (or even any) of their beliefs. Strange, by the way, how quick this thread went from the transportation bill to homophobia.
