Why Can’t We Turn “Stop The War” Efforts Against The Terrorists?

After all, they’re the only reason we’re still fighting in Iraq.

It’s frustrating to see the media turn a blind eye to the nature of the crimes and open fire on an honest endeavor to restore peace to a bleeding nation. I’m sure the terrorists are pleased by the coverage. Why not, when their crimes are being portrayed as successful breakthroughs against the efforts of Iraq and America it’s likely motivating them to keep up the killing.
Would it be “hate speech” to expose the terrorists for what they are?
I think our hate for their crimes must not be hidden; there is no shame in hating those blood-thirsty monsters.
Even more appalling I see and hear some people who think the solution is to end the war from our end and I can’t find an argument more naïve than this—I’ve seen enough wars in my life that I can’t remember a day when there was peace and I hate wars more than they can imagine. But we didn’t start his war; it’s the terrorists who started this war against life.
Instead of telling us to stop fighting back, I’d like to see some people stand up and protest the crimes of the terrorists and tell them to stop the killing and destruction…turn the stop-the-war campaign against the terrorists, is that too much to ask for?
Tell the criminals to stop killing us and stop attacking the people who are risking their lives fighting for liberty and equality.
We’re not asking the media and the stop-the-war crowd to carry arms and shoot the terrorists; we just want them to stop shooting at us.

Not even the most ardent anti-war critics talks of the possibility of the terrorists setting down their weapons. Those anti-war critics lambaste our President and our troops for the violence in Iraq, but when was the last time you heard one of them criticize the people who are actually causing that violence? Planting those IED’s? Killing those civilians?
It doesn’t happen.
When a shooter attacks one of our college campuses and kills 30+ people we blame the guy who did the shooting. We point out that he was deranged, angry and murderous. Yet when 30+ civilians are bombed to death in some Baghdad neighborhood the media and the left blame the President and his foreign policy. But again, shouldn’t we be blaming the people doing the bombing? And encouraging both Iraqis and our troops to fight against such monsters?
Since we invaded Iraq we’ve spent a lot of time talking about the morality of fighting this war in Iraq, but few people talk about the morality of not fighting it. Of abandoning our Iraqi friends to the machinations of those evil terrorists. If we leave Iraq early there will be chaos and wholesale slaughter, but those calling for withdrawal don’t want to talk about that.

This is the Left’s social law of victimization.

The Left has long been ashamed of our success, our prosperity and our power; rather than seeing that prosperity as a positive outcome of our work ethic and generosity of spirit, that shame has caused them to see billions of victims even in the faces of murderous terrorists. If we just gave more money to the Palestinians and they were as prosperous as we are, without having to work and struggle to earn it and take personal responsibility for own their lives, they wouldn’t have to kill those damn prosperous, hard working Jews and hate those damn prosperous, hard working Americans. As they strap bombs to their bodies and kill innocent civilians the Left does not see or care about the innocent civilians or the damage to our country, they only see the poor victimized Palestianins.

Because we had the power to end the murderous tryanny of Saddam and remove him as a threat to the region, the Left saw that he too was a victim of American Imperialism, and the terrorists there now are only fighting against an evil America, illegally occupying their country. Once again those who murder innocent people are the real victims, not the people they kill.

They are the party of Defeatism to be sure, but they also are the holy religion of perpetual victimization; and they see a charitable, decent and prosperous America as the cause of all the victimization in the world. If we only gave all our money away (redistribution) to make everyone equal without demanding any personal responsibility, there would be less victims in the world.

In order to focus the world’s attention on their love of victims they need a cause and while America fits that bill nicely, they also need a prince of Darkness as the personification of America’s evil, and George W. Bush is that man. Yet, it must be clear that they do not really care for the victims, they sure as hell don’t care about innocent human beings in the womb, so they must have another motive and that motive is their insatiable lust for power and the establishment of a Socialist Utopia in American, with they and their fellow travelers being the ruling elite.

Nothing will change until more people are affected by things like Sept. 11 ’01.

It’s going to be a classic case of dropping the frog into hot water or slowly heating the water.

To me it’s simply amazing to me that we call them 3rd world countries while they are smarter about human nature than all the acadamia in our country
