Why Aren’t Republicans On Offense?

How many times have we heard “vote for the GOP, or else the Democrats win”? True, but does that get you out to pull a lever on a cold November Tuesday? Only while holding your nose, right?
That’s about how I feel. The Republican candidates have spent the majority of their time this primary season sizing themselves up to Hillary Clinton, and asking who can best defeat her. Implying, essentially, that Republicans should vote against Hillary (or whoever the Dem candidate will be) instead of voting for a Republican.
Personally, after the Republican losses in 2006, I pledged to myself that I’d no longer vote for a candidate simply because I’m voting against that candidates opponent. If the eventual Republican nominee isn’t someone to my liking, I won’t be voting.
And I think there are a lot of Republicans out there who feel as I do.
