White House Coordinating 527 Attacks On Republicans

Behold hope, change and the new spirit of bipartisanship.

President Obama’s allies on the left, AFSCME and the labor-backed Americans United for Change, are ramping up with a massive advertising blitz containing the most direct and hard-hitting attack yet on specific GOP leaders, demanding that they get behind the recovery package and stop saying “No.”
White House aides were told in advance what the concept of the ads would be, though they were briefed while the ad was in production, according to a Democrat familiar with the discussions. The ad, which is running nationally on cable, goes considerably farther than Obama and the White House has in directly calling out Republican leaders, flashing images of GOP Reps John Boehner and Eric Cantor, and Senator Mitch McConnell.
The ad — which is accompanied by a big targeted radio ad blitz hitting 18 GOP House members and three Senators opposing the plan — is a sign that Obama and his advisers won’t try to get in the way as allied groups play hardball with the Republicans in the final stretch of the stimulus fight, even as the Obama administration hits GOPers blocking the plan somewhat less directly or aggressively.

Ed Morrissey notes:

Remember when the Democrats had their panties in a wad over the presence of Karl Rove in the Bush White House? They objected to the politicization of the executive branch and the apparent and alleged political coordination between Rove and outside groups. Now that Barack Obama has cleaned out the White House, though, things like that will never, ever happen again. Right? Right?

Wrong, apparently.
Hope and change!

And if I stay, what are you going to do?
Threaten me again? Or make ethnic or racial slurs like the ones you made not long ago.
    Which one is it?
    You racist piece of shit.

I would tie every bit of bad news to conservative policies and hold hearings dragging, no, make that BURYING republicans in mud. I would whip up so much hatred towards republicans they wouldn’t be safe leaving their homes.

Ooooh! A Fascist in drag! How thrilling!

    Progressive Projection.

Just as one could tell what the Soviets were up to by what they accused others of, so too can one tell where the democrats are headed by the same method.

White House aides were told in advance what the concept of the ads would be, though they were briefed while the ad was in production…

    where is the coordination?

staff was informed while in production but there is NOTHING that says staffers had any input.

why, make up stuff? isn’t there enough going on for reasoned discussing without lying?

This is minor and doesn’t go far enough.

I would put out daily press releases blaming republicans for the crisis, targeting cities and towns where layoffs and foreclosures are rising fastest. I would tie every bit of bad news to conservative policies and hold hearings dragging, no, make that BURYING republicans in mud. I would whip up so much hatred towards republicans they wouldn’t be safe leaving their homes.

    But that’s just me.

Remember when the Democrats had their panties in a wad over the presence of Karl Rove in the Bush White House? They objected to the politicization of the executive branch and the apparent and alleged political coordination between Rove and outside groups.

What we had a problem with was him briefing executive branch agencies on what they could do to help elections.

This is not the same thing.

Just another example of someone being promoted to their level of incompetence. The real problem is that the Big O has not surrounded himself with any capable people. Or, it at least seems that way, by the way him and his peep’s have screwed up each and every step they have taken. The only thing he seems capable of right now is campaigning. Which is what he is doing now. that and attacking. The only other thing he seems good at, taught by the Democratic Chicago machine. Presently, I do not think he has the cabinet that needs to do his job properly. Until he learns his job and changes some of his cabinet, he will continue to look like a junior management hire being asked to run a meeting of the board of directors.

    Hey hawk,
Are you an idiot? (sorry, stating the obvious)

BHO’s chief of staff briefs Stephanopolooza every day on what to say, his Dept of Justice has hired a non-lawyer hit woman from his campaign to dig up dirt on GOPers, his Att Gen has helped to pardon terrorists, his stimulus bill has earmarked (oops, he said there were no earmarks) – nosemarked one Billion (with a B) dollars for Acorn an organization that is being investigated in 13 states for voter fraud, and now his aides are coordinating efforts to hit GOP congressmen.

Is any of THAT the same as what Rove was accused of? No, you say. You’re right, it’s 100 times worse! Where is the MSM? (oh, they’re part of it) No congressional investigations? (“we won”, we can do anything we want)no calls for an independent investigation? (ditto)

This country is in serious trouble without a leader – just a community organizer. And it’s YOUR fault! The shame is that you and your ilk are going to ruin the country for the rest of us.

I thought it was funny that the Big O picked a town with a high jobless rate caused by the Democrats. What a putz. His Peep’s are not doing him well, setting him up like that makes him look incapable of doing his job.
One of Elkhart, Indiana’s main industries are RV and Boat building. Two things about these industry. One, because of the lack of oil refinery’s, the price of gas drove the business’ down. All new refineries have been stopped by the Democrats. Two, the Democrats want to tax luxury items more because only the rich could afford them, right. Which would slow production even more. And the rube’s were cheering him on as he explained how he will do away with their main source of income. It’s hard feeling compassion for people that walk of a cliff on purpose.

Liberals are so utterly empty and devoid of anything like esteem because they do not believe in it, their lack of confidence can only be replaced, and then only temporarily by ego.

Escalating frenzied arrogance and outrage follow when they do not get their way whether because others disagree or because nature itself rejects their idiocy.

This will only get worse, but the worse it gets, the sillier he and his cohorts look. The failure of this man will resonate for centuries, or for however long the public can pay attention, whichever is shorter.
