After all, the guy is pro-free trade.  He doesn’t buy into the Democrat mantra on wage stagnation.  He favors lower taxes, with fewer deductions, and thinks corporations should enjoy a cut in federal taxes.

So, seriously, how long is he really going to last as an adviser to the most liberal Senator in the US Senate?  Why did Obama hire him in the first place?

Was the hiring a reach out to moderate and conservative voters?  Or does Obama really feel as Jason Furman does about economics and is merely lying on the campaign trail when he criticizes tax cuts for corporations and preaches wage stagnation?

Either Obama’s posturing or guilty of making campaign promises.  Neither speaks well of his leadership.
