What Would You Ask The President?

Washington (Herald Sun) - Given the chance to talk to President Bush about any topic, Americans say their first choice would be the war in Iraq followed by Social Security, according to a Gallup poll... Twenty-eight percent highlighted the Iraq war... Social Security was the topic of choice for 14 percent ... Other issues mentioned by large numbers included the economy (10 percent), energy/gas prices (8 percent), health care and moral issues (both 6 percent) and immigration (4 percent).

The exact poll questions and data are on the pay-only portion of Gallup, so I don't have access to it (unless someone wants to send $95 my way?). But many people surveyed, at least from the way this article portrays the results, seem to think of this as 15 minutes of how to tell the President to do his job...

Personally, if I had 15 minutes of time with the President, unquestionably I would spend the whole time talking to him about his faith: How he came to know Christ, how his faith has grown/changed since he took office, his daily devotion habits, etc... Being the most important thing in a Christian's life, I could think of no better time spent than to grow my own faith with the Leader of the Free World...

What would y'all talk about?

He has no concept of baseball.

Essentially, he’s unemployable---sort of like Likwud. ‘Course, Likwud has some XBox skills but nothing that translates into making a living.

There’s no real question to ask AWOL george; asking a question implies one is interested in an answer.  Frankly, AWOL George offers nothing of interest.

I’d ask him if he’d ever consider becoming the commissioner of Major League Baseball after his second term.

Seriously, baseball could use him.

thanks for the comparison (however idiotic) of me to the President

Only you could find a compliment in there; you’re welcome.

JG - why are you always talking about me?  Is this your juvenile attempt at showing me that you like me or something?  Heh.

By the way...thanks for the comparison (however idiotic) of me to the President.  I didn’t know you thought so highly of me to compare me to the most powerful person in the world.  I don’t think I deserve the comparison..but thanks.

You seem bitter JG.  Your side has been losing for decades and you make no sense in about 90% of your comments.  Do you need help in getting your head out of your ass?  I can help you with that since you’re a friend and all.

I certainly wouldn’t mind be compared to the President.

I would ask him how good the hunting is down on the Ranch, then I would ask him what the hell he’s planting this year. With the possibility of a Dry/wet/dry cycle this year, high plateu soybeans would be a good bet.
