Water Flavored Alcohol?

For those who don’t like the taste of beer, wine or liquor comes a product called Air, which is water-flavored alcohol.

A simple mixture, just water and alcohol (plus carbonation), Air is advertised to be an alcoholic beverage that tastes like water. 95 calories. A minimalist design. 4% ABV. And a patented process by which fermented malt is made colorless, odorless and without flavor. It’s almost as though you’re not really drinking at all. Or at least you can tell yourself that, while you drain can after bland can of the stuff. (There are berry and citrus-flavored options, too, if you feel like getting wild.)

Given the Fourloko precedent, something tells me it won’t take long for the fun police to get this product taken off the market.

Because just as it’s the cheeseburger, and not the decision to eat it, that makes people fat it is fun, innovative alcohol drinks that make people drink irresponsibly.
