Washington Post Runs Feature Story About Obama’s Faith, Forgets To Mention Rev. Jeremiah Wright

Guess how many times Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright is mentioned in the page A1 story about Obama’s faith in the Washington Post?

Zero.

But I guess there’s no sense mentioning the man, in an article about Obama’s spiritual side, who married Barack to his wife, baptized his children, worked for his campaign, wrote the sermon Obama named a book and his campaign theme after and presided over the church he attended for two decades.

That’d just be too inconvenient for Obama.

So every time someone reports on McCain’s faith, your saying they should bring up Hagee and Parsley? Talk about your haters, those dudes are world clsss haters.

The inconvenient Truth.  Deleted from history just as the communists deleted Truth from their controlled world.

Buzz,

Did Hagee marry McCain or was that Parsley?

Did Parsley baptize McCain’s children or was that Hagee?

Which one was in the pulpit for 20 plus years while McCain sat there and listened?  Was it both?

Seems you should spend more time driving the boat and less time making comparisons between pears and mangoes.

No one should expect fair handed treatment when it comes to BHO, the MSM is trying to get their candidate elected.

I would venture a guess here that there was no need to make a connection since the entire country is well aware that Rev Wright was his minister for 20 years, married the Obamas and baptized their children.

You were all able to cite it pretty well. And it is clear that you will all be keeping it alive and well in the blogosphere.

We’ve all moved passed it but since you don’t have candidate that you can tout his credentials and conservative programs and policies, what you have to do is attack Obama.

Ooooohhhh, what a great strategy! You have all of really really scared of that scary racist black man who would be president.

Puff piece by the partisan post.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

1. Buzz: The situation between McCain and Hagee/Parsley are night and day different than Obama and Wright. To suggest otherwise is to be incredibly, consciously dishonest. You know that the relationships are wholly different and for you to suggest otherwise means you are either incredibly stupid, which I seriously doubt, or you are trying to cover-up a very unpleasant truth about B.O..

2. It is possible, honestly, to talk about Obama’s faith without mentioning Wright, if it is only about his personsal faith in Christ and the Gospel; but considering their long association and Wrights extremism, the MSM had to omit Wright for less than honorable purposes.

Let there be no doubt that the MSM has all but made the Wright connection out of bounds and most Americans have already forgotten the connection or minimized it in their minds.

3. Goon, Obama is better known as B.O.! Remember, to use his middle name is racist, so let us all just refer to him as B.O. in the future!

Stalin didn’t look or act “scary” in public either.  He did all his dirty work behind his iron curtain and was protected by his two official-- Communist newspapers Pravda and Izvestia, meant “the truth” and “the news” respectively.
Both which produced lies.

According to the republicorps, I guess it is you all who should be scared:

“If you have an R in front of your name, you better run scared,” said Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, who says the party will do well if it holds its losses to three or four seats.

MSM Racism - They DARE to keep the Black man down?!?!

Wright was a big part of Obama’s faith, his life, his childrens lives, he even listened to Rev. Wright on tape when he was going to college!!

How dare they discuss Obama’s faith without Rev Wright! They are trying to trivialize the black man…

/sarcasm

Rev Wright could not be reached for comment, the reporter couldn’t fit under the bus to reach him.....

This story was supposedly an in-depth feature article about a candidate’s spirituality, but didn’t mention the candidate’s spiritual leader of twenty years.  The man who the candidate himself described as his “mentor” and “sounding board.”

Puzzled is just fine with this lackluster “journalism” because it benefits her messiah.

Pathetic.

Who supposed it? Certainly not the author, who merely reported on the contents of Obama’s latest speech.

Obama has said that if he is elected President, he will authorize NASA to launch a deep space probe into the memory hole that stories like those of Jeremiah Wright have fallen into.

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

Neither man is a part of McCain’s religious life. They’re political endorsers, nary more.

And both men together have nothing on Wright.

According to the republicorps, I guess it is you all who should be scared:

What the hell is it with liberals that they don’t get that this isn’t a game. If Democrats aren’t elected, it’s not just Republicans that lose...it’s everyone. Higher gas prices hit everyone, as do higher taxes, more regulations, etc.

This isn’t a damn sports game. The effects of the election don’t end when the votes are tallied. We all don’t just go home and congradulate ourselves on “our team” winning, with no impact on our daily lives. I don’t understand why liberals can’t get this.

Obama/Biden is not change. It’s more of the same.

It’s a page one story headlined “Obama addresses his faith.”

You can’t report on Obama’s faith without mentioning the man he worshipped under for twenty years.

This is true. This is also irrelevant.

The report was on the contents of Obama’s speech to the African Methodist Episcopal Church about his faith, in which he did not mention any of his former pastors by name. Why would an objective journalist include it?

When you sit in a church for 20 years and the fire brand minister marries you, is your spirutal advisor, baptised your kids makes this very relevant, however, since the MSM is in bed with Barry they won’t mention it.
