This rings true for me:

Of course it would...for you.

I bet you haven’t even seen the movie.  You simply parrot and agree to anything your messiah’s suggest.

I bet you haven’t even seen the movie.

I’ll take that bet, moron!

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

I just didn’t see the propaganda in the film. Are we really going to argue that keeping the planet clean is somehow propaganda? Or that allowing one single corporation to control all the goods and services we buy is a good thing? This movie was not nearly as bad as The Day After Tomorrow.

Ken on July 3, 2008 at 11:22 am

Dude, Rob, it’s a movie for children.

Unless someone points it out to them, I don’t think they’re gonna come away with that. This is stupid.

It looks fun, and when I get a chance I’m gonna go see it.

Obama/Biden is not change. It’s more of the same.

Dude, Rob, it’s a movie for children.

Exactly.  Children lack the knowledge and experience to filter out the propaganda messages, and swallow it whole.  The global warming hoaxers have frightened a generation of schoolchildren, and the environazis have been successful recruiting school children to their antibusiness agenda.
This is a propaganda screed masquerading as a “kid’s movie”.

This evening my wife and I took my daughter and one of her friends to see the new Disney/Pixar film WALL-E.

That was sure hard to find! / sarcasm

So, Han-job: You start with a bogus ass-umption and then just pull the rest out of your ass? Typical.

Amen to that.  This is why religion gets their claws into ‘em right out of the womb.

This is why religion gets their claws into ‘em right out of the womb.

One, religion isn’t propaganda, and Two, the object of propaganda is replace the influence of the parents, whereas children get their religion from loving parents.
Big difference.

Actually, Proof; that’s a very good description of the general hate-filled leftie commenting style.

Sounds like Wall-e trying to tell the little children of the world that Pixar-Disney is evil corporation which makes humans sit inside a comfy movie theatre getting fat and lazy and causing destruction for the planet Earf.

It’s simply amazing that Hollywood, the industry of selling consumption, can make these types of movies about anti-consumption...only on planet Earf.

My wife and I saw Wall-E opening day at the theater.  Honestly, I didn’t see it as being overly filled with propaganda of any sort, and I’m usually pretty sensitive about that sort of thing.  It was a cute movie, and what humans had become* was really secondary to Wall-E & Eve’s relationship, such as it was.

* I didn’t see any of them working in any way, shape, or form, so it seems like their ultimate fate had more to do with letting the government (in the form of Buy ‘N’ Large) take over their lives completely.  If anything, it was anti-socialist/leftist propaganda, IMHO.

Yeah, it was an assumption.  Somewhere in your broken brain, you got the idea that making a guess is the same thing as a conclusion.

What your side does is jump to conclusion too many time and get it wrong.  Thus, the difference between you and us.

Yeah, it was an ass-umption.

You do that a lot. Generally with no basis in fact. Does it ever embarrass you?

My use of the term “bet” was 50/50....that’s not technically an assumption, but close.  To make a bet suggests that you could be wrong.  You idiot.

And no, of course it wouldn’t embarrass me even if I had made an assumption.  Because it is different than drawing the wrong CONCLUSION....which is what you idiots do.  Does that embarrass you?

And if you had only “made the 50/50 bet” and shut your stupid pie hole, maybe I wouldn’t have called you on it. But after your ass-umed “bet” your vitriol and bile spilled over:

I bet you haven’t even seen the movie.  You simply parrot and agree to anything your messiah’s suggest.

WTF, Han-job? “To make a bet suggests that you could be wrong.” To unload that load of crap takes a real head case! (Or a biased, half-assed idiot.)

You see, Han-job: You made your second assumption based only on your first assumption. What kind of idiot does that? (Put your hand down, Hannitized! We see you!)

Yeah, there is a bit of a message in there.  Probably a worthwhile message, at that.  I got a chuckle out of the boneless fatties on the cruise ship.

Anyone that is getting bent out of shape about this movie, or thinks it is actually “propaganda” needs to re-examine their priorities.
