Wal-Mart Live Blogging: Fashion Choices
Wal-Mart CEO Lee Scott is talking right now. He was covering some of Wal-Mart's advancements on the fashion scene. During his speech he got in a light jab at New York Times reporter Michael Barbaro (the guy responsible for the Wal-Mart/bloggers story).
Mr. Scott was talking Wal-Mart's new fashion line and alluded to the fact that "even some reporters here from New York are wearing Wal-Mart ties."
Unless I'm mistaken, Mr. Barbaro appears to be wearing a George brand tie, which goes for something like $11.00 at Wal-Mart. Proving that while Mr. Barbaro's disdain for Wal-Mart as a company is obvious in his reporting, he isn't above purchasing quality products at low prices from them.
