Nearly 6 in 10 — 58 percent — said they have doubts about Bush’s honesty, the first time in his presidency that more than half the country has questioned his personal integrity.

My broken digital has a blank display.

His larger problem is with the trust of the citizenery and that most of his party won’t stand on the same stage with him.

I dunna where you get either of these ideas. In your universe,no doubt, he is president now only because he cheated in the last election and not because 3.5 million more people voted for him.

“Most of his party” == Delusion.

“problems the trust of the citizens” == Democratic Party.

Guess which party’s the minority & work out that there’s a reason for it besides Republicans cheating & lying.

First we have, Democrats trying to take responsibility for things going right.

    Then we get, the reality.

I like it when Carrick comments.

From a news organization that referred to a “CIA leak case” (there was no “leak”; Plame couldn’t be “leaked”).

I did enjoy this: “Just 35 percent of those surveyed rated the economy as either excellent or good, with 65 percent describing it as not so good or poor.”

Wow. In an economy that was for awhile in danger of being overheated.

So much for integrity from you WOOF.

    WOOF:

Reid shut down the Senate and forced an investigation on the uses of prewar intelligence.

As if they hadn’t already been investigating it. Lots of noise but no change.

Murtha spoke and suddenly the whole administration is talking of withdrawl and schedules.

Murtha calls for an immediate withdrawal and Bush announces that he will hold to the same plan:

You see, I hope by now you’ve discovered something about me, that when I say we’re not going to have artificial timetables of withdrawal, and/or try to get me out on a limb on what the troop levels will look like — the answer to your question on troop levels is, it’s conditions-based. We have an objective in Iraq, and as we meet those objectives, our commanders on the ground will determine the size of the troop levels.

Exactly the same thing he was saying before Murtha’s speech. Lots of noise but no change.

The patriot act is in trouble.

It’s been in trouble since the day after it was signed into law. Frankly I was a little surprised it even got an extension. Lots of noise. No change.

The Dems have pushed Bush toward their goals

You need to lay off the hash pipe.

5 speeches, Bush even took questions. Trying to show involvement. The dems dragged him out of his office.

For once, you’re right. You must be an analog clock & not a digital one (decrypt that if you can).

Murtha’s shenanigans finally precipitated a much overdue push back by the White House. Bush even gave a press conference on Monday, and sounded well… the best I’ve ever heard him do on a press conference (I *think* that was a compliment). His approval ratings are finally bouncing up to pre-Katrina levels.

Nearly 2/3 of the American public now believe the democratic process in Iraq is working—I blame Bush .

Bush is finally talking of doing things in the Gulf, saying jobs should go to those displaced. Bush, because of his weakness with Americans is being pushed left.

March 11, 2005 · The chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee says the probe into whether the Bush administration manipulated pre-war intelligence on Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction is over. Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) says since the panel earlier found intelligence to be flawed, there’s no need to continue the probe.

Sure they’ll whitewash and classify but they are being forced.
