Video: The Best Interview Of Joe Biden Ever?

That’s what Michelle Malkin is saying about this interview between Biden and WFTV Channel 9’s Barbara West.
The Obama campaign was so threatened by this interview that they canceled another interview West had scheduled with Biden’s wife:

Why did Barack Obama’s campaign cancel a WFTV-Channel 9 interview with Jill Biden, wife of Sen. Joe Biden? The campaign cited “an unprofessional interview” WFTV’s Barbara West did Thursday with Joe Biden. In a statement Friday, Adrianne Marsh, Florida spokeswoman for Obama’s campaign, said the station, in talking with Sen. Biden, was “both combative and woefully uninformed about simple facts.” Marsh said West’s insistence that Obama was an organizer for ACORN was “100 percent false.” “In a line of questioning that would make Rush Limbaugh proud, West even went as far as to quote Karl Marx, a Communist icon, in a disturbing attempt to associate Barack Obama with socialism,” Marsh wrote. West said, “I think I asked him some pointed questions. . . . I don’t think I was rude or inconsiderate to him.”

The Obama campaign gets away with stuff like this, but what do you think the reaction from the left/media would be if the McCain campaign had canceled interviews after Charlie Gibson’s interview with Palin?
Aren’t double standards wonderful?

And going back before Jamestown, was Saint Augustine Florida. It is the oldest continuous permanent settlement in the USA territory. There were numerous temporary settlements made up the coast into Georgia and SC in the 1500′s.

Unfortunately, for the Spaniards, their influence on the New World was isolated to Florida, due to the vast influx of Europeans.
But, they did make good tacos.

Say, isn’t that the part of the country where the country started in the first place?

Nice try, but sort of a juvenile move.

Sure, I think Delaware was the first state.

You made a statement about where the country started. I guessed you were speaking of PLYMOUTH. NOT TRUE.

Now you want to go ahead 150 years to which was the first state. You are right, it was Delaware. So what?

Should we jump ahead another 200 years and determine which state elected a clown and performed the first ugly hair transplant?

  • Eneils Bailey

    Pparets..

Your point is well-taken, and I will amend it to make it perfectly clear..

    I said..

He comes from that part of the country where you can amass a constituency that is a coalition of:

And for you, I will clarify..
He comes from that part of the country where you can amass a “democrat” constituency that is a coalition of:

I think it is self-evident that I may be a partisan Conservative and a may possess enough common sense to know that Conservatives do exist in that part of the country. But unfortunately, they are in a “Vast right-wing minority.”

    RBB,

Say, isn’t that the part of the country where the country started in the first place?

You may want to check out history, and find out Jamestown was the first permanent English establishment in what is now known as the USA before you start teaching American history.

  • bobo

It seems to me if Obama is promising a rebate check in the mail to 50% of the people then he is effectively buying votes and that is patently illegal

  • richNJ

Not the best of questions. But I am glad that someone at least attempted to put him on the spot. I did laugh out loud when he said that BO and JB are going to give the middle class a tax cut. Thats a joke. Every tax will be increased by BO to make up for any cuts they give us. Plus, the educated ignorant politicians, still want the rich to pay their fare share. They already do, when you tax them more, they will only charge more for their services. Thereby causing me more to pay for their services. Thanks joe….screwed by the Democrats again.
It realy is simple. Here is BO’s plan. Tax the rich, the government gets more money. Now the government is happy. The people who now pay NO taxes get a rebate. They are happy. The rich rasies their salaries, cost, etc. They are happy. And us old middle class people. SCREWED……..you lambs are beinging led to slaughter and you have a smile on your face. What putz’s……

  • pparets

eneils: Careful, buddy… a lot of us are from ‘that’ part of the country…

… including the late William F. Buckley and Bill Roth, Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, Peter King, Tom Ridge, Michael Steele, Charles Krauthammer, yours truly and a host of conservatives and/or republicans.

Next time, don’t open your big mouth until you are absolutely sure your shoe will fit. :)

  • http://bullwinkleblog.com/ Bullwinkle

I liked the part where Biden said “not one single cent” was paid to ACORN. He was right, a whole assload of cents was paid. Over $800,000.

Scratch a Liberal, find a liar. In Bidens case it doesn’t take much scratching.

  • Jerry

If it was a “Hard-Hitter” on McCain, it would get “National” coverage. Every Night.

It only more journalists, behaved like journalists.

  • http://ndgoon.blogspot.com/ goon

If the dems get a veto proof majority in both houses and senate they are going to enact the fairness doctrine, you will see disenting opinion squelched and squashed and it will take a long time to undo all the regulations they are going to try and enact. They will take guns away and do all kinds of damage to the second ammendentment. Also, BHO will start stuffing the courts with leftards…. This is why they haven’t filled hardly any of W’s appointments…

  • http://grandforker.com/ Patrick C. Miller

What’s really lame is Biden’s attempt to spin his “rhetorical flourish” about Obama facing a “generated” test within his first six months in office. Anyone with half a brain understoodd what he really said.

To be honest, I thought a couple of the reporter’s questions were over the top and could have been phrased better. On the other hand, knowing that McCain and Palin are asked similar questions every day, it’s nice to see the shoe on the other foot for a change.

  • Jackass Jimmy

That’s what socialists do… suppress communications. Misinform their proletariat. I guess it won’t be long before we’ll all be required to hang pictures of Barry in our living rooms.

It continues to amaze me that the people that scream the loudest about the idea of slavery are so willing to become slaves themselves by voting Obama into office.

  • jvftz

Next, Obama is going to say it’s a “vicious smear” to say he was ever in Chicago.

  • Puzzlefeet

Just laughable! I howled during the entire when I heard the questions, LOL.

  • di butler

I was going to send this interview to you guys. I e-mailed Barbara West and the station manager. I like the part when Joe asked her who wrote her questions. You guys might not how noticed that part, but that is highly disrespectful for him to say to a woman. Did he think she could only use crayolas like him? He is repeatedly disrespectful of women. She asked him great questions. I wish we could see this on a national level.

  • di butler

Well, predictably the station and reporter are getting crap from the Obama campaign. Joe’s wifey is not going to do an interview because this Barbara West chick is sooo scary! Check out Drudge for the latest on this. If you liked the interview send an e-mail, show support for someone who dares to ask real questions. Everyone on both sides should have to answer to the same type of query.

  • Jackass Jimmy

I see Ol’ Joe employed a favorite method of dEMOcrats when they’re in front of an audience and they’re asked questions they don’t like or don’t know the answer to: Get angry and/or question the question (i.e., misdirect) so that those in the audience who are susceptible to such weak techniques fall to your side. After all, mob rule is a characteristic of class warfare; if you can get the mob on your side by way of a small popularity contest, then you feel like you’ve won the battle.

Isn’t this one of the reasons that we live in a republic and not a dEMOcracy?

  • mplsbob

Barbara West better watch her back. Methinks the Obama truth squad will be coming for her soon. Great interview. Biden was probably thinking, “what the hell, your supposed to ask me my favorite color!”

  • http://bullwinkleblog.com/ Bullwinkle

Obama isn’t strong enough to give the Ms. West the Anna Politkovskaya treatment, not yet. If he’s elected that will change.

Say, isn’t that the part of the country where the country started in the first place? Darn those people for not assimilating into the new real America.

I’m gonna write Michelle Bachmann (r) a letter and tell her to investigate the, the, the…oh what did Sarah call it…oh yeah, the Great North West for being un American.

What did one native say to the other when he saw the tall ships?

    Oceans no longer protect us.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com/readers/author/realitybasedbob/ realitybasedbob

Gee Eneils, here I always thought that Delaware was the first state of The United States.

I guess I don’t know my American history after all.

Maybe you can help me some more.

    Whatcha got for 2 + 2?

  • Gary Fish

Great interview, Its good to see an interview that’s not in the back pocket of Obama. Ask a hard question and the mob comes after you and her husband- this just shows how marxis they are acting. If Obama’s team can’t handle this how can they ever handle a 3 am call that comes from across the ocean from someone who could cares less about soft questions. Biden is a joke for VP and shows that Obama doesn’t have a clue. Obama may can run a great campaigne but not the great USA.

I just sent Barbara West an e-mail thanking her for the tough Biden interview.

Except of course for the ones that were already here.

As we say down at Fred McMurray, you are really dancing now, boy.

And you are right, the Injuns were here long before our European ancestors. Unfortunately, they were more interested in gathering up women and children and scraping the hair off their heads than creating a civilized nation.

  • Eneils Bailey

    Biden is a freaking clown.

He comes from that part of the country where you can amass a constituency that is a coalition of:
What’s left of union thugs and their supporters.
The ever-growing minority urban population who have been promised for decades that “we will take care of you.” Just vote for me, and I will bestow on you other people’s wealth.
Liberals, educated in institutions who hire the likes of Bill Ayers to indoctrinate your kids.
Plain ole hard-working blue-dog democrat Americans, who will not and can not face up to the fact that today’s democrat party is just a shell of what it once was.
People that fail recognize that where Obomer and biden wants to take us has failed miserably in the last one hundred years.

Take a look around, Kennedy, Frank, Studds, Wrangel, Drugin, etc..etc..(and you can also throw a few selected Republicans into that mix) have prospered beyond belief while you are still sitting in some run-down tenement waiting for democrat relief truck to show up.

  • http://ndgoon.blogspot.com/ goon

So when NOBAMA gang is hit with facts it is a smear?

  • HG

That interview was pretty lame. The questions were ridiculous.

  • di butler

I personally think it is bs to say some parts of the country are unAmerican. While it’s true there are some areas with a higher concentration, you can find unAmerican Americans everywhere. I have an old German guy that lives behind me who lets his dashaund crap in all the neighbor’s yards, and he hates America. He has a bumpersticker on his volvo that says “America Sucks,” and will tell you Hitler was a great man. Bachmann did sound kind of kooky in her answers. She meant well, I think, but ended up sounding like she wanted to get a roundup committee.

  • Jackass Jimmy

Uh oh… I forgot a word in my previous post. That should make PiaB foam at the mouth…

  • Eneils Bailey

    Listen….

Don’t get on me about the Injun comment. I am one quarter Cherokee Injun. If it had not been for the white man, I would still be out in the woods, chasing down a damn deer, almost naked, with nothing more than a spear.

I like buying processed meat down at the local grocery store.

To me this is far worse and scarier than a tax increase or the economy… and that’s saying alot because the economy is obviously in a huge fix right now… but taking away our rights as citizens is by far the worst thing that can happen to the wonderful and free United States of America… we will no longer stand for freedom!!!
