Of course, it seems to me that there plenty of public school graduates who are every bit as demented as home schooled kids (her comments start at about 6:10).
Maybe she meant “champions” instead of “demented.”
Regardless, for liberals - who like to talk about choice when the topic is whether or not women should be allowed to murder their unborn children - to oppose choice when it comes to how children should be educated is unbelievable. Aside from clothing, shelter and sustenance what other more important duty is there for parents than to have a say in their child’s education? Forcing parents who can’t afford to opt-out of the public school system to send their kids to whatever public schools is geographically closest to them isn’t acceptable any more.
American students are falling behind, and the problem lays with out education system and its lack of choice.
