Video: Generation Gimme
A fascinating Fox News segment discussing the results of a survey a college professor gave his class asking them what they expected the federal government to do for them.
The answer? They want the government to pay their tuition, provide them with jobs, provide them with spending money and fund their retirement.
My favorite answer from the survey is the student who said that, because people “aren’t responsible for their own actions”, the government needs to “control” us to make sure that those who don’t care about others pony up their fair share.
That from a college student.
If you want to know where the Occupy Wall Street movement came from, it’s born of that overweening sense of entitlement.
