Video: Cramer And Gulleson Don’t Debate (Because Gulleson Didn’t Want To)
Earlier this week there was quite the kerfuffle over what was supposed to be a debate between Republican Kevin Cramer and Democrat Pam Gulleson at an event put on by the Lignite Energy Council. The debate didn’t happen because Gulleson told the LEC she didn’t want to debate Cramer at their event, but when she was called out for dodging a debate (the second one this year) Gulleson and her campaign started calling the critics liars.
Of course, nobody was lying. The Lignite Energy Council confirmed that Gulleson had pulled out of the debate but agreed to address the event on her own.
So here’s the video of the two candidates addressing the event separately. If Gulleson had hoped to avoid an inconvenient contrast between herself and Cramer, she didn’t do it.
