UN’s IPCC Copied Melting Glacier Stuff From Someone Else’s Homework.

Government Plans Education Summit

Really!

In its most recent report, it stated that observed reductions in mountain ice in the Andes, Alps and Africa was being caused by global warming, citing two papers as the source of the information.
However, it can be revealed that one of the sources quoted was a feature article published in a popular magazine for climbers which was based on anecdotal evidence from mountaineers about the changes they were witnessing on the mountainsides around them.
The other was a dissertation written by a geography student, studying for the equivalent of a master’s degree, at the University of Berne in Switzerland that quoted interviews with mountain guides in the Alps.

So how many Billions are we spending on scientists to study global warming? After all of that the UN has to go to a some college kids homework and a climber’s magazine to make their predictions.
Gee, I guess the whole thing’s a fraud from the get-go. They were exposed manipulating the data in their emails. Their programs were found to be rigged to give them the answers they expected. They’ve made wild claims without any kind of credible source. Can we have our billions back?
Has science ever sunk so low. Is Galileo spinning around Jupiter in his grave?

Just imagine if somebody was able to prove that the moon walks were a fraud.

No, Michael Jackson actually did do that.

If it was real they wouldn’t get caught lying about it over and over.

Climate is an average of the weather. They can’t tell us what the weather
will be like next week. Why would you believe them when they can’t predict
    anything that’s verifiable.

What happened to the mild winter they promised North Dakota?

There is an entire generation of Americans who were brought up believing this nonsense. Just imagine if somebody was able to prove that the moon walks were a fraud. Imagine how your world view would be destroyed. Now imagine 100 million Americans who’s world view is based on the fraud of AGW. No way they give up on this without a fight. They will deny it for years.
At least the people who created religions were smart enough to be sure that there was no way to prove there was no God. These idiots did this fraud right in front of us assuming nobody would even do the simplest of cross checks. I’d call it conspiracy except that apparently these pin heads are too stupid and it would be insulting to the folks at ACORN who really know how to run a scam.

I was hoping the article would tell us the guy got a lousy grade on his
    paper, but it didn’t say.

On their knees behind Obama. Olberman and Matthews are hogging all the best
    places though.

AGW is a lie. Period. Time to drag these anti-human a$$holes into the streets. They have done more damage to real science than Democrat Socialists have ever been able to do.

I was just reading that on the climate depot, they have many articles and so many calling for the phuchire what ever his name is to step down . he is making to much money and is in the middle of writing a book about sex . Why shouldn’t he, he has raised the window and tried to have sex with the entire world. It is and must be a do or die thing because they are not stopping even amid cries for prosecution .

Al Gore’s wealth went from $3 MILLION TO $93 MILLION in three years. Make him pay 90% towards the nations health care.

Why not, they are plaugerizing everything else they do from Marx, Lenin, Alsinsky & Chavez

  • sayanything-2361

Shouldn’t they try to cheat off of smarter people?

“…based on anecdotal evidence from mountaineers about the changes they were witnessing on the mountainsides around them.”

“…that quoted interviews with mountain guides in the Alps.”

That sounds an awful lot like it may actually been from a single, anecdotal source.

Global Warming is a myth that has enormous power: (1) It is a secular religion that provides believers enormous opportunities to feel good about themselves while providing a range of sins and evil-doers to blame for all that is wrong; (2) It provides the basis for the imposition of limitless political power, and (3) trillions of dollars are at stake. The wildest dreams of drug cartel avarice pale next to the opportunities provided by GW for wealth and power. GW also has the advantage of providing bogus moral cover for pure, stinking evil.

Have you seen the level of college work these days? Doing what ten years ago was considered half-assed is good enough for a 4.0 grade average today. People cite based on word searches bringing up ABSTRACTS and they DO NOT read the full text before using the information, and the teachers RARELY check. It’s very hard to do so when the schools often do not have subscriptions to the periodical quoted from and the reprint copy of the document was as much as $150. With twenty students in a class and a week from assigning the paper to grading it leaves them with little time.

If I want a really easy time of things, I will do all studying offline at a library, read the actual material before citing and using it, and then make the citation. Chances are, the prof won’t have the time or access to prove or disprove it.

Given that, people can make up stuff entirely and no one notices.

So are we really surprised that people with strong personal philosophical and political motivations would do this kind of thing?

Actually, my method is better because when you’re citing old books before the current cultural age, you’re generally working with heavily peer-reviewed ideas.
