Unlike Heidi Heitkamp, Rick Berg Isn’t Afraid To Attend His National Convention
Last week we learned that liberal North Dakota Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp, along with House candidate Pam Gulleson, were so afraid of being identified by voters in the state with their national party and President Barack Obama that they are skipping their national convention.
Their rather thin excuse, given the amount of time they spend at out-of-state fundraisers, is that they need the three days of the convention to campaign in the state.
Republican Senate candidate Rick Berg, on the other hand, will be at the RNC National Convention in Tampa Bay according to National Journal.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Democrat convention wants you to know that the criticism of all these Democrats skipping the national convention is “all about nothing.”
Yeah, right.
